third offer 6990 attracts me..

hello guys... i bought a alienware m15x from a seller name Unbreakable3131. Due to time constrain i unable to check all the systems during the cod. now i realize the d drive is not working... called dell but i unable to proof the previous seller so dell unable to provide the service.

How much does the d drive cost?? is the spec below worth RM3100 but without the warrenty and d drive..

for Processor, 2720 with 2630 performance is not that far...

btw i'm agree that SSD is worth to picked, as GFX, i think 6970 is good enough, hehehe

but those WiFi card on #2 is not that appealing, but, well Killer is only arround RM180-200, can upgrade later

why dont buy 6970m? i heard that its worth it.............

Hi guys, im a new alienware user, just recently bought a m15x off a forumer here.

However the two icons on the touch surface are not working
(the ufo icon, and the speedometer icon)

He recommends me to download "alienware command centre" but also indicates that if i download an older version, it could screw up my rig.

Can a kind soul please guide me on where to download, or what to do to solve this issue?

hi, u can download the Alienware Command Centre software at dell.com.my....... Just search for the support part............
BTW, why isn't ur M15x have Alienware Command Centre software pre installed in it?

It wasnt pre-installed when i got the machine from the forumer.

I guess he uninstalled it or something.

He did mention not to download anything from dell support, can you verify this?

If not from dell, where to download those drivers? Unless its nvidia, killer NIC etc

Seller gave false information just to sell his product.

Can i also just ask, the button for "stealth" mode, if i press it, am i suppose to see some indication that it is "ON" or "OFF"? because when i press it, nothing happens as well.
