Not worth it. Better build a pc with it and get a better performance.

Since i already own one.. no need to get 3D.. try to customize this.

Processor: i7-3740QM
Video Card: AMD 7970M
RAM: 8GB is enough
HDD: I would recommend just getting the 500GB hard drive then buy SSD, ( You can put the SSD on the other hdd slot )

Hi, from Dell online store i can only choose i7-3840QM and the smallest hard drive i can choose is 1TB. The rest is SSD and expensive wondering is it worth investing that much money in SSD because it have much smaller storage space and expensive compare to hard drive tongue.gif . i wanna have a laptop that can play games like Borderland 2, Mass Effect 3, Anno 2070, Total War games with high setting. Playing Borderland 2 on my current laptop was so lag that i feel very dizzy. rclxub.gif

I assume this is about M14x. Better not get SSD from dell, if the price is higher than retail. Buy one at retail store at put it in yourself.
Get whichever you need speed vs storage space. Do check out SSD thread / related articles for more info's.

I decide to go for 7970m smile.gif

The only problem left now is the hard disk section which have many choices but all are bad choices to me doh.gif
i also want to follow your advice with 500gb then go buy ssd myself. but the cheapest choice is the 2x1TB HDD with raid0 zzzz....
which means if i wanna add SSD next time i will need to cancel raid0 and reinstall the window and take out 1TB HDD leave it outside eating dirt. sad.gif

Can anyone help me by giving me some opinion and advise which one to choose? Thanks smile.gif

BTW, I see a lot comment about the problem of RAID0 such as higher risk of losing data and reduce life cycle.
Anyone with experience or knowledge of using RAID0 before can give me some advice? Thanks again biggrin.gif
