standby only without call/sms or anything.



ios 5.01 after 7 hours 100%

Wahh..iPhone battery?even I just leave it around 2-3 hours it will drain like 1-2% ...in standby mode as well~

At IOS5.0.1, the battery doesn't seem to drain during standby time. My Iphone 4 did that too!

and are you connected to 3G or 2G network?

my area 3g and 2g always change .. data on but wifi always on..

The wifi will auto switch off after certain time when phone in lock/sleep mode.
ios 5.0.1 can sleep longer..

from here we all should know that ios 5.01 is better while in standby mode than ios 5.00

How in the world did you test? You told EVERYBODY not to call you for the entire 7 hours duration? Good test though ...

i think it is Not so accurate bro . If can , You upgrade the iphone that running ios 5.00 into 5.01 and RETEST for 7 hours again

I do feel the improvement on my ip4 after upgrading to 5.0.1 compared to 5.0

same wif me...ip4 upgrade to iOS5.0.1... whole night standby still 100%... but once using it via wifi,3G,play games... battery drop slowly... 2 hours of radio online streaming drop 20%+/-.... juz sooo unfortunate dat it cannot b JB...sooo everything is limited now...haaiizzz....

Mine with 3G on, without any calls/SMS, averaging 3-4 bars of 3G, a whopping 20% gone after 16 hours of 3G standy, fully charged...

add: 1 year old iPhone4, iOS5.0
