Having a hard time to find a headset with mic for answering call My Rig: Samsung Galaxy SII (ICS 4.0) with Poweramp apps - Type of usage:Music and telephony with smartphone - File format:Any high quality audio format - Music genre:Smooth Jazz/Instrumental/Rock - Budget:<RM1000 or more if it suit to my needs - Headphone/ earphone type: Headphone with mic - Other requirements (if any): 1.able to answering/dialing calls without removing the headset 2. Clear all 3 frequency with strong but clean bass 3. Closed type
By the way can Klipsch Mode M40 able to take calls on Android devices like mine? Wish it has hidden mic like Steelseries Siberia. Good sound quality for high and mid range but weak in producing strong and clean bass. Even tried Dr. Dre Studio at Harvey Norman but does not impress me enough, loud but not in details.

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Jun 6 2012, 10:31 PM) Fanny Wang 2000 series The inline mic and control will work with Galaxies but not the volume control. Thanxs bro. Looks exactly like Dr. Dre Studio. Where can I test it by the way?. I want to immerse to the music I'm hearing.

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Jun 6 2012, 10:51 PM) Go to Tong Lee Co., ground floor of Low Yat Plaza and look for Mr Low. Tell him that I sent you to test the Fanny Wang 2000 series. Incidentally, he is using SII as well Noted with thanxs bro, will do that when I have a next meeting in KL soon (I'm in Melaka by the way).

Have had a look of Fanny Wang 2000s, try to like it but still cannot due to the design and the sound, probably too funky to me. Will AiAiAi TMA-1 for DJ with mic work with my Samsung SII in taking calls? Do like the design and the simplicity of it, plus it will not look silly on my head.

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Jun 9 2012, 04:39 PM) The mic and control works, only the volume control don't. Thanxs bro. Saw the Aiaiai TM-1 Studio in your Facebook for pre-order. Will it have a difference on sound quality or better?

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Jun 9 2012, 07:35 PM) The AiAiAi TMA-1 Studio is expected to have a more balanced sound compared with the TMA-1 . Oho!!.. Then will wait for the Studio to come out although very itchy to get the Aiaiai TM-1 DJ. Hopefully it will not be overprice like Dr. Dre.

QUOTE(mikej1899 @ Jul 29 2012, 12:26 AM) - My Rig: samsung s3 & Asus laptop - Type of usage: music & movies - File format: mp3 - Music genre: pop, techno & rap - Budget: 300-400 - Headphone/ earphone type: over the ear - Other requirements (if any): Deeper bass, Clear, Comfortable. (similar to beats solo) I did not really study much on headphones. But am interested in getting something that I would enjoy while listening to my music. My music usually go from David guetta, pit bull, bt and etc. Currently using gaming headset Razer Orca. Hate it when listening to music. So please give me some recommendations guys. Thanks Aiaiai TMA-1 DJ but it's on the ear but best for basshead Aiaiai TMA-1 Studio have PU over the ear, best for balanced sound Both are more than RM600 Or Aiaiai Capital that recently launched, on the ear but having a comfort issue. The SQ is great. RM440 from E01. This post has been edited by sulfuriq: Jul 29 2012, 12:54 AM

Sony MDR- XB500 is also good for basshead but loose in clarity. If I'm not mistaken too in t he range price of RM400 - RM500. Location wise to test as others suggested is at Jaben. If you can increase your budget try to consider Fanny Wang 2000 series.
