hi guys. I wanna buy IEMs.

Im choosing between the two. The hippo vb and the ATH CKS90. For now im more inclined to the CKS 90. But iv been hearing about the monstrous bass on the vb. I have the budget for both. my only criteria is for bass.

What im not so happy with the vb is that the lowest frequency response is only 15hz while cks goes until 5 i think. does that serve as a criteria for bass? please help me choose.

Anything below 20Hz is already well beyond human's audible range, useless!  Typical human's perception of bass drum centers around 80 - 125 Hz.

hi guys. currently rocking the Sony XB700s. really appreciate the seismic bass I'm getting from it after i pair with only the E5. XB700s literally shake my head. I know its not good sweat.gif but its not like I listen long hours to those seismic bass! (or do I?)

I am considering an upgrade. Havent got enough yet but am saving up for it. probably wanna buy the XB1000s. im thinking bigger drivers get even more subwoofer-ish sound.. but i wonder why people say xb1000 bass not boomy as its lower models? not amp enough? impedance also 24ohm very low what~ if only got test unit somewhere.

in the search of the bassiest boomiest royal rumble headphone out there.
*been researching on athpro700mkII, some users ain't so happy with it when compare with XB700s.. its as if headfonia review not so reliable..inb4 mana bassnya pondan.jpg*

hey guys~ between the Denon D2000/5000/7000

which of them has the boomiest bass? I know these are audiophile grade headphones and I shouldn't be only looking for bass but in anyway I would also appreciate the clarity and sound quality that these cans offer. But being a bass lover, I just need some really good bass thump as the priority.

guys. just wanna ask simple question

between alessandro ms2i and beyerdynamic dt990 premium 250 ohm,

which one better??

I'm looking for massive soundstage here.

I tried the ms2i and even though people say that soundstage isn't its specialty, i am quite satisfied with it.

Wish i tried the dt990s, but if can, wanna know what u guys think la.

dun worry about amp and all, i got those covered biggrin.gif

i personally am a fan on beyer, i was using ms1i and sold it off for my pair of beyer dt770 250ohm, grado type wounds a bit too bright for me, beyer sounds more "entertaining"

QUOTE(hongrui @ Jul 3 2012, 01:36 PM)
if you're looking for massive soundstage, the DT990 would have about 1.5x - 2x the soundstage size of ms2i.

thank you thank you notworthy.gif

anything I'm missing out if I chose the 990s over the ms2i?

I heard 990s mids are recessed, meaning I won't feel that front seat and feel sitting at the back of a concert right?

are the mids on the ms2i better, or 990s are an overall winner here?
