- My Rig: samsung s3 & Asus laptop - Type of usage: music & movies - File format: mp3 - Music genre: pop, techno & rap - Budget: 300-400 - Headphone/ earphone type: over the ear - Other requirements (if any): Deeper bass, Clear, Comfortable. (similar to beats solo)
I did not really study much on headphones. But am interested in getting something that I would enjoy while listening to my music. My music usually go from David guetta, pit bull, bt and etc. Currently using gaming headset Razer Orca. Hate it when listening to music. So please give me some recommendations guys. Thanks

QUOTE(sulfuriq @ Jul 29 2012, 12:52 AM) Aiaiai TMA-1 DJ but it's on the ear but best for basshead Aiaiai TMA-1 Studio have PU over the ear, best for balanced sound Both are more than RM600 Or Aiaiai Capital that recently launched, on the ear but having a comfort issue. The SQ is great. RM440 from E01. Thanks man for the quick reply. With regards to Aiaiai TMA-1 DJ, can u give me other options so I can give them a try one shot? And if possible, give me the location where I can get them. Thanks

QUOTE(sulfuriq @ Jul 29 2012, 01:26 AM) Sony MDR- XB500 is also good for basshead but loose in clarity. If I'm not mistaken too in t he range price of RM400 - RM500. Location wise to test as others suggested is at Jaben. If you can increase your budget try to consider Fanny Wang 2000 series. Thanks bro. Will go check it out. Hopefully I can get a good one soon

Hey guys, thanks for the recommendations and opinions. Got myself an Aiaiai TMA-1 and can't pry myself off the headphones since i got it. Happy purchase from Jaben. the sound really makes me go WoW. Thanks again guys. worth every penny Added on July 31, 2012, 12:47 amQUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Jul 30 2012, 03:40 PM) Firstly, the Beats Solo is no longer in production. Secondly, it was never at your current budget (unless the fakes). Thirdly, it is not an over-ear. For on-ears, similar to Beats Solo, here are some options: AKG K430 RM430 AKG K518LE RM400 Hey man haha thanks for the info. Sorry, I am not really up to date with all this audio thingy and just got started. so I am still not use to the terms used and or up to date with the latest audio system. but really appreciated ur recommendations , but i have already made the purchase yesterday, but got the stock only today. thanks man This post has been edited by mikej1899: Jul 31 2012, 12:47 AM

Using a Jay 1+. No tangle. Can't remember how much I bought mine. But I am guessing less than 300.
Edit
Can go for. A Jay four since u r using iphone 4s. Atleast u can utilize the volume control. The bass is not over whelming and clarity is there
