QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Jan 3 2012, 12:00 AM) - My Rig: iPhone & laptop ur preferences looks like suited for audio technica, but i cant recommend u open type headphone since ure going to use it inside airplane...- Type of usage: Music & movie - File format: mp3 - Music genre: Pop/R&B/Rock - Budget: Rm400-Rm500 - Headphone/ earphone type: Not sure which is better. Mostly home use, while driving & inside airplane - Other requirements (if any): Not too bassy will do The budget is just a rough estimation. May increase if needed. Actually I'm comparing between Beats and Soul please what ever u do dont go for beats... since u dont like bassy stuff beats is what u should steer of... |

QUOTE(Ikmal91 @ Jan 19 2012, 12:39 PM) Grados are open cans arent they? Or somebody correct me. yes they are open cans... if u a true rocker.. u have to listen to grado sound signature at least 1 time.... I kind of like the SR225i Maybe I should try the Grado lineups since they have a somewhat distinctive signature to them. |

QUOTE(zg1984 @ Feb 28 2012, 06:21 AM) Hi guys, I''m in a real debate with myself this time and would appreciate some help. I'm about to upgrade myself with a new set of IEM's but I can't decide which should it be. I've read great reviews both about the Atrio and the Ultimate Ears. The Atrio, as I understand, are more bassy whereas the Ultimate Ears are more clear. I listen mainly to Jazz, rock, alternative, grunge and classical music and would like to hear your advice on which pair should I get and why. What are the pro's and con's of each set and how do the compare to each other? (and in what properties one beats the other). Thank you very much, hope you can help me decide! QUOTE(Ask_Yip @ Feb 28 2012, 07:59 AM) i agree... UE triple.fi 10 should be able to cater ur needs. however the fit is some what of a problem... but if u can resolve the fitting issues.... u should be in audio nirvana in no time....u can also try Fischer Audio DBA-02 or Brainwavz B2 (DBA for RM600 ++ I think... , while Brainwavz cost around RM400 but the sound is almost identical...) as for Futuresonic Atrio.... well seeing from your music preferences, my bet u should go for bright sounding phones as the produce more details and clarity... but the best thing to do is audition it lol... |
