Warm signature? I can only think of D2000/2nd hand HD650 at that price range. Otherwise DT880/SRH940 they are bright sounding cans but I think they will do better for jazz and oldies.

Oh, forgot about DT770pro, they are pretty good too. Check it out.

I've been reading about these ATH-AD series for sometimes now... reviews on them are great, my only concern is that its an open back headphone which mean sound leakage, which is no good for me since my desktop is in a room with someone else who usually asleep while I am on my pc late at nite.. any alternative with similar greatness and comfort?  thanks
