I was looking into Sennheiser HD 201, Philips SHP2700, Edifier Coolware Music 800 and Sony MDR-XD200 but could not decide which one to buy. Can anyone please suggest me some headphone models suitable for electric guitar amplifiers. Thank you.

Really? For rock, alternative and metal the tma-1 is better? How so? I thought m50 sounds clearer? Meh I'll try them both to decide. What about some old songs? Like 80s songs such as one night in bangkok, take on me, and new songs like paradise by coldplay? I've been listening to a few headphones with paradise. Not all of them deliver the perfect sound balance for the song.

would like to ask sifus here. i spoiled quite couple of earphones in the past. all of them have the same problem - one side not working. this problem annoys me to no end so i decided to fork out more this time and get a more decent one. i would like to know are expensive earphones longer lasting? (i assume my spoiled earphones are due to my carelessness). as i use earphone in the gym very often, i need something longer lasting (or perhaps i need to give more TLC to whatever earphone im using? )

I'm looking for an ear phone which can be used for both jogging(using iphone4) as well as my computer (fed up of getting headphone hair)

1) Budget $200 or below (but must be durable)
2) Good fit for jogging and be [COLOR=green]sweat resistant
3) The wire should be long enough since my desktop pc is on the floor
4) Deliver good bass since I mostly listen to hip hop, I'm not really an audiophile though
5) Preference on ear clip ones but open to anything.

I was considering sennheiser adidas sport series but saw some mixed reviews and also can't really make up my mind since there's so many models.

I'm open to other brands as long it fits my criteria, btw is there any store in Johor bahru that sells earphones? Will be great if I could drop by and test out different models etc.

AD700 doesnt have bass but it's a  great all-rounder headphone... cant bring out... not portable compared to m50... but great soundstage as it's wider compared to m50...

M50 ( suits all bass songs like r&b and rock songs ) and it's closed can so no noise leak... =D
