but their design is nice. i dont like AD's one. the band kinda look flimsy

Open one's gives out a lot of external noise and not really noise cancelling. Not suited for gaming.

thanks for all the info guys. one question, ive done couple of search and alot think that pl30's bass is not reali heavy enough. ive only use a sonic gear earpump, which spoiled recently, so how would the bass of pl30 differ from the earpump? (pardon the sillyness). also, i came across creative ep630 which ppl claim to have heavy bass. opinions?

i get more confused as i did more searches. philips? sennheiser? some recommend crossroads. and more and more.

Why not get one specially for Gym and not crank up the price? Meelectronic M9 is a tough IEM w/ a lot of bass.
Though, it's only 90bucks w/ iphone remote.

Then you can get another IEM for casual usage.

Thinking whether those RM3k-ish custom is really worth the price?

But then if you straight away go over to extreme, it might not be wise. Be sure to try them out first.

Shure SE215 should be considerably warmer, and depending on the amp, might have a significantly more bass amount compared to the B2. The B2 will be a lot more detailed and will be brighter.

Seems like I prefer a warmer tone. Thanks for the tips. smile.gif

- My Rig: PC
- Type of usage: More to Music and sometimes Gaming
- File format: Youtube
- Music genre: DJ,Clubbing,Trance (Example:One Day by Christopher S feat. Max Urban or Could You Believe by ATB)
- Budget: Rm300 (Headphone + Sound Card/Amp)
- Headphone/ earphone type: I prefer Full-Sized Headphones because it's more comfortable for long hours usage.
- Other requirements (if any): None.

Now I already have a Sound Blaster Audigy Value sound card and I'm planning on getting the Asus Xonar DG sound card.
I have a few choices in my mind, they are the Superlux HD660,HD681B,HD661 and Samson SR850...which 1 is more suitable?(I prefer more Bass type)

Or should I get Amps instead of Sound Card to increase the sound quality?

Thanks.

I own HD661. You won't get huge bass but rather a balanced thud and it's more towards the mids and highs. I can say these cans are quite bright. Clamping force is quite strong for the first few days, but gets better after some time. Apart from that, HD668B are too, similar to the HD661 in terms of SQ. I think HD660 or superlux hd681 might suit you better.

Its better that u list out ur music preference and the genre u listen to, as both IEMs u listed have very different sound signature. One is warm sounding and bassy while another one is bright sounding with alot of clear details.

R&B, POP, Instrumentals, movie soundtracks, techno & emphasis on vocal clarity without being too sharp. hmm.gif
