Is spending extra rm100 really worth it from sr60i to sr80i/ms1i in term of sound difference? And also, the leaking for all stated headphone the same with any other open headphone?

worth it or not, you're the best person to judge.

amount of sound leakage, is about same for all open headphones.

- My Rig: PC (mobo asus maximus ext-z) if that help...
- Type of usage: Music, movie, gaming all kinda thing i can do actually
- File format: MP3, FLAC, WAVE
- Music genre: Rock, Metal <--priority to these. Bluess, Jazz somtimes.. RnB(prefer the full sound from guitar solo and tight bass or in your face kinda distortion)
- Budget: RM1500 + -
- Headphone/ earphone type: BeyerDynamic DT880/DT990 or Audio Technica A900 or Grado Prestige SR325i.. (prefer more comfortable headphone)
- Other requirements (if any): -
-Amp: Prefer preamp+dac as i cant have both of them due to budget constraint... my choice atm Hifiman EF2A or Uber Muzik TinyTube

Any Suggestion or question should be great...

PS: Il try to find 2nhand item 1st as i cant afford new one now.

OR maybe il just buy this one

BeyerDynamic DT990 250ohm full set + CrossRoads Edge Amp + Custom Made Mini to 2 RCA cable ~

you can also consider German Mastero series of headphones. GMP 400 and GMP 450 are headphones that performs at the same level of the DT880/990.

GMP + TTD should be within your budget, TTD + DT880 will exceed your budget by about 15-20%, IIRC.

frankly i don't really remember what the GMP sounds like. i remember that i like the GMP 400 more than the GMP450, and the GMP400 is somewhat like a DT880 but with more mids.

is the mid kinda honky? or just pure mild neutral mid?

Hmmm how about Alessandro MS2 pair + TT . .. ~ or the TT would not bring any diff to this setup

Mids for GMP? definitely not honky. its musical and lush, not as neutral as DT880, IMO.

Personally, MS1i sounds better with TTD than MS2i. MS2i has a pretty unique signature that you really want a neutral amp, but TTD sounds great with MSPro too.
