QUOTE(noobandroid @ Jan 4 2012, 11:45 PM) I like both, sadly can only choose one.My only concern for the A700 are the earpads. They look like the ones which can easily tear/flake/strip off. While the earpads of the M50 looks some what like the pads on my Roccat Kave now, which i like. But still ive got to make a decision between the two, unless people can suggest other models within the budget. |

QUOTE(Alfsaw @ Jan 4 2012, 11:43 PM) ATH-M50 or ATH-A700, which one would be a better choice in terms of quality and durability? ATH-M50 is built like a tank. I have seen someone in headfi mentioning that he accidentally dropped his M50 from 2nd floor to 1st floor, and not a single scratch was detected. I owned it before and I assure u the durability of these headphones is really good.Help me out here. Budget around Rm500-700. |

Thats my main issue between the two now. |

I believe they are durable enough but comfort wise, they get hot after 30 minutes of usage but I believe it is very normal for pleather pads. What do you think of the ear pads?
