- My Rig: PC,SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium, Samsung Galaxy S2, iPad
- Type of usage: Music (MP3, FLAC), Movies (AAC, AC3, DTS,MP4)
- Music genre: Pop, R&B, Instrumental, Rap, Rock, Pop Rock
- Budget: <800.
- Headphone/ earphone type: Headphone. Over-ear .
- Brand preference: None.
- Other requirements (if any): A detachable wire is a priority, comfort is second. I can barely use my HD428's now because the Siberia V2's are so freaking comfortable! D: I need some headphones with proper bass, the bass from the HD428's is not exactly punchy.. I don't know whether I should spend all 800 on headphones or headphones+amp, almost bought the Fiio E11 from AKG, but some extra money came in. smile.gif

Advice is really needed  blush.gif
*
ATH M50, Sennheiser Hd518/558, AiAiAi Tma-1 (this is an on-ear but the bass part is good)

For amp u can choose Hippo Box+, Fiio E10 as they have bass boots

Quattro variable bass, can adjust to your taste, jays, CKM55 kinda bassy. if you want super light bass, try hippo shroom EB or even low bass hippo Shroom
CKM55 sounds very dark sounding. From what i heard from my friend's unit
*
not very dark..ckm55 push towards mids more..and of cuz it still have bass

I would like to ask for suggestion here. I've been thinking to buy either Shure SRH840 or 940, but still not decide yet. Is it better to buy 840 and use the extra money to buy an amp, or 940 worth at that price? Is the 840 consider an upgrade from my ATH AD700? Also is there any other headphone to suggest me that is close.

- My Rig:  laptop/PC and handphone
- Type of usage: 50% music and 50% gaming/movie
- File format: mostly mp3 and some flac
- Music genre: classics, rock, pop, R&B, jazz, etc
- Budget: ~rm1000
- Headphone/ earphone type: headphone(close)
- Other requirements (if any): Prefer something more detail and natural but have a bit more bass than my current ad700. Even if lack bass not that much problem since I not really a basshead. Also hope to get one that's comfortable since I'll be using it for at least few hours in a day.

Thank you
*
SRH840/940 is flat, clean and pure sound..not everyone can accept it..u can try Beyer dt770 pro +amp

Which one is best bang for buck for me to buy from the list below. Dont ask me to go jaben its quite far from me.

Ajays 1-3
Klipsch S3
Creative Aurvana
Creative E730

Personally i tried the ajays 3&4 and the klipsch s3 but it lacks the sound clarity..klipsch s3 bass is quite good compared to ajays..

Wanna pair it with my Crossroad iDock + 3.5mm cable from our forumer ssyycc (a nice cable indeed) + FiiO E6. Currently pairing those item with my pioneer hdj500..Wanna buy the iem to use it at my office smile.gif

Greetings bro's,

I would appreciate feedback between these 2 DJ headphones: Shure SRH750DJ & Audio-Technica ATH PRO500.

I'm looking at bass, quality and finally overall sound quality (mid, highs, etc.). Any suggestions between these 2 or better ones without sacrificing too much of my budget?

Thanks.

- My Rig: Stock laptop onboard soundcard - currently.
- Type of usage: Music
- File format: mp3 and flac
- Music genre: easy-listening, jazz and little bit of pop
- Budget: below 400
- Headphone/ earphone type: headphone preferred
- Other requirements (if any): good clarity perhaps?

As above, I have listed out my budget of below 400 for an headphone. The review for Superlux HD661 seems pretty good on the clarity and seems to fit into the music genre I'm listening, in your opinion, is there any other brand and model to suggest?

Should I get HD661 and pair with a usb-dac or a better headphone first?
Any help is very, very much appreciated.
Thank you.

addendum: if possible, any headphone with noise-cancellation? would be great if able to indulge myself into the music after a tiring day.

with rm400 u no need look at superlux already..for ur music taste u can hav a look at Shure Srh440, Audio Technica AD300
