My Rig: Stock laptop onboard soundcard - currently.
-
Type of usage: Music
-
File format: mp3 and flac
-
Music genre: easy-listening, jazz and little bit of pop
-
Budget: below 400
-
Headphone/ earphone type: headphone preferred
-
Other requirements (if any): good clarity perhaps?
As above, I have listed out my budget of below 400 for an headphone. The review for Superlux HD661 seems pretty good on the clarity and seems to fit into the music genre I'm listening, in your opinion, is there any other brand and model to suggest?
Should I get HD661 and pair with a usb-dac or a better headphone first?
Any help is very, very much appreciated.
Thank you.
addendum: if possible, any headphone with noise-cancellation? would be great if able to indulge myself into the music after a tiring day.
with rm400 u no need look at superlux already..for ur music taste u can hav a look at Shure Srh440, Audio Technica AD300
if feel like adding a usb-dac, can pm me cuz i selling mine, details can talk in pm
