- My Rig: samsung s3 & Asus laptop
- Type of usage: music & movies
- File format: mp3
- Music genre: pop, techno & rap
- Budget: 300-400
- Headphone/ earphone type: over the ear
- Other requirements (if any): Deeper bass, Clear, Comfortable. (similar to beats solo)

I did not really study much on headphones. But am interested in getting something that I would enjoy while listening to my music. My music usually go from David guetta, pit bull, bt and etc. Currently using gaming headset Razer Orca. Hate it when listening to music. So please give me some recommendations guys. Thanks

Aiaiai TMA-1 DJ but it's on the ear but best for basshead
Aiaiai TMA-1 Studio have PU over the ear, best for balanced sound
Both are more than RM600
Or Aiaiai Capital that recently launched, on the ear but having a comfort issue. The SQ is great. RM440 from E01.

Sony MDR- XB500 is also good for basshead but loose in clarity. If I'm not mistaken too in t he range price of RM400 - RM500. Location wise to test as others suggested is at Jaben. If you can increase your budget try to consider Fanny Wang 2000 series.

Hey guys! Hoping for some recommendations from you guys!

- iPod Touch / iPod Nano
- Mainly Music
- Usually .mp3
- Jazz, rock, acoustic, pop
- IEM
- Noise cancellation is a must. Volume control (or not, doesn't really matter)
- RM500 -/+

Been looking at Shure's earphones SE 425 but I can't make up my mind yet! Any other recommendations please?

Was previously a Sennheiser user.

Thanks!

AKG K420.
Maybe Koss Portapro if you don't mind the looks. tongue.gif
Oooh, I forgot one more which is the AiAiAi Tracks. May be a bit more expensive for you, but I think it goes good for any mainstream audience.
EDIT: Dang, forgot one more, and I've personally tried this, the Sony MDR-570LP. I thought it was alright for an on-ear portable. But the AKG, Tracks and Portapro may be better, because the Sony is an entry level portable.

Firstly, the Beats Solo is no longer in production. Secondly, it was never at your current budget (unless the fakes). Thirdly, it is not an over-ear.

For on-ears, similar to Beats Solo, here are some options:

Hello sifus!
Wish you could recommend something for my needs, hehe

- Your rig (Ipod, laptop)
- What type of usage (music, movies)
- File format used in your source (mp3)
- Genre of music you listen to (im looking for a balanced cans)
- Headphone/ earphone type (over the ear, open back)
- Other requirements (comfy headphone)
- budget (500-700)

I've had ath m50. Sound quality is pretty nice but now I'm looking for a bigger soundstage and comfortable to the ears. m50 burns my ears after a period of time and fatiguing.
