I'm new to this thread since I just got my Samsung Galaxy W i8150 around 2 days ago. It's a really great phone, and I really recommend anyone else that is hesitating of buying it, to get it

I really want to Root & install Custom ROM on my Galaxy W, but sad case still got warranty for 2 years.

I'm not that professional in this rooting & installing custom ROM section. Normally my brother would help me do these stuff. So, I don't want to do it. Plus, only 2 days I bought the phone. Kinda worried , haha

I can figure it out with reading pages but the risk is what I'm worried. I'll just use it as it is for now

How is the Ace? When using it, got lag or hang before?

That's great. Yeah, the Galaxy W also sometimes got lag. But so far no hang before. Really great device 

Yeah, I also think the same thing. Actually, at first I wanted to buy Ace because of my budget and the specs were in the average category. But then I was browsing SAMSUNG website then came across Galaxy W and I was like 'woah, so much difference for just RM200'. So, I got the Galaxy W instead 

Anybody experienced calling someone but that someone cannot hear the caller?  Had to reboot to resolve.

I thought someone said there's a counter in the phone to track how many times it's been rooted, and Samsung Service Center can see this counter?

WTFish ... register by batch? to sms just need around 5 minutes only ..

i think u need to choose sdcard before downloading it .. what game have u tried?

You must bear in mind that new phone from Samsung and LG offer 3 layers memory for phone which is internal memory, internal SD (/mnt/sdcard) and external SD (/mnt/sdcard/external_sd).
where other or old phone have 2 layers which is internal memory and external SD (/mnt/sdcard).

when download gameloft games, data file is save at default directory ( /mnt/sdcard/),
it is save to external sd card for 2 layers memory phone but comes to 3 layers phones (SGS,SGS2 and SGW),
it save to internal sd, so only 2GB can use for games. ( For us the SGW users)

must root to use 3rd party apps to mount or patch ur games apk file (change the default data directory save to mnt/sdcard/external_sd) only can move data files to external sd in SGW.

that's the thing. app2sd is actually move to "mnt/sdcard",
so for us, it move to internal sd.
but as your swap memory,
initially mnt/sd = internal sd, mnt/sd/external_sd = external sd,
after swap, mnt/sd = external sd , mnt/sd/external_sd=internal sd.
so when app2sd, data is move to mnt/sd = external sd ( as you swap already).

it's good for you. 
btw, swap need root access right??

too bad I don't know root. and not free to root.
maybe after I graduate only learn la. busy for final year report. haha.
since you rooted, can either mount or swap your memory.
