lucky for you to get non-G version. I was saving money, half way hear about the G-version news and rush to shops ask, it was too late ... all got G. lolz

only 2 bad things about Galaxy W compare to S2.
1-low internal memory ( Really really low )
2-low rams ( really hate the ram things, said 512mb, then 150+mb reserve for OS, then in phone we saw 351mb, then within the 351mb still need to used up ram for UI and other android services, left 50-100mb only)

was wondering what the use for the 150mb+ deduct from the 512mb ?
cause witin the 351mb still used up 150-200mb for android services.

for normal apps, can move to external sd, but for gameloft games still cannot. haha.
sometimes some apps force close and I think is due to not enough ram.
sometime i use dophin browser HD to load pages, open 2,3 tabs, scroll down reading half way it auto close.
lolz, not even pop out "force close" things, just close and UI appear. lolz.

I just check it. Walao, i rmb when I buy it the USB debugging was initial enabled, just check it wasn't and I just enable it. hope give less problem. ><

ya. Totally Agree. Really hope to have 768 rather than 512mb for ram in this SGW, it would be PERFECT if it have 768 ram. that's only 1 thing I like about HTC, most of high end HTC phone have scropion 8255 1ghz with 768mb ram. >< aiks.

you mean swap memory? I didn't.. haha. and why enable swap memory is related to ram?? ><

ya, but at least more memory available, this help reduce "lag" and "delay" between switching tasks if memory is no enough in this current "512mb ram" (especially after finish games/HD games).

HELP ~ LOLZ. Phone "media scanning" really unstoppable.
starting buy the phone, the media scanning finish within minutes, now totally infinity.
Just copied everything from phone to laptop, reformat the sd, and copy everything back. still got problem.

shoulD i do a factory reset or Hard reset?
need use my backup pro backup apps&media, and data? ><

but, I did the long format dy. still got problem.
try my old 4gb sd card, also scan long long time.
tried the .nomedia way, media scanning still unstoppable.

friend said could be because 2 days ago,
I disconnect usb storage and phone hang, So I hard restart the phone.
this might cause the system go error or what.
and I can see the "media scanning running" keep pop out in middle,
some website said might got apps trigger modification to files,
thus after modification on files, media scanner will run.

later night might try delete some files in external sd or what.
else I'll just do the factory reset.

btw cow, i saw the factory reset can find under the "privacy", factory reset?
is factory reset same as hard reset? ><

Just now I on my phone, the media scanner problem stil exist, never end.
then I use my AVG PRO scan, take 10mins, then it found some suspisious item, then I click it and the media scanner stop. SO I thought it was virus.

Then I use my backup pro backup my all my apps.
and restart the phone.

But the media scanners still scan never end, then again I use AVG PRO,
this time no virus or what.
So it seems like the media scanners on my phone went wrong,
so when the AVG PRO scan the things, especially Media,
it force the media scanner run together, so after AVG PRO finish scan,
the media scanner also stopped.

Perharps, the media scanners services in my phone got problem?
anyway to reinstall media scanners, etc?
