QUOTE(CAC@MBO @ Dec 23 2011, 12:15 PM) SGX-series and Adreno series, I might possible get SGX too if possible, for the SGX543 on ipad 2, currently the "best" gpu. lolz. but i really like mali400. T_T S2. lolz, why you so expensive. wait, I should said, SAMSUNG why you give M'sia S2 with texus processor ~ T_T Ok, I get you... Correction. It's Texas Chipset instead of Exynos. Same processor, different GPU. Both still using A9. I thought you can find Non-G version in the market? This post has been edited by IwanAGP: Dec 23 2011, 01:40 PM |

QUOTE(hdslr cinematography @ Dec 23 2011, 01:37 PM) may i ask? Eh, see where you are? papago no need use data plan, so it's about the gps within it.do basically how long does it takes for gps to give us direction if we dont use any data plan? within building sure take long time as gps can't target you. if outside, normally within 1-3minutes. for me, I use speed view pro which help me track and lock gps, when it lock only i on papago, so around 1-2minutes then can use dy. QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Dec 23 2011, 01:38 PM) Wow. That's a News for me. M'sia S2 not A9 with mali??? Ms'a non-G version is exynos and mali400, G-version is the sxxk texas chipset.Ok, I get you... Correction. It's Texas Chipset instead of Exynos. Same processor, different GPU. Both still using A9. I thought you can find Non-G version in the market? can, second hand lo. XD lolz wrong, A9 is just a concept how you build it, it's different processor. 1.2Ghz dual core Exynox 4210 and mali 400. ---> I9100 1.2Ghz dual core TI OMAP4430 and PowerVR540(@300mhz). --->I9100G but i9100 is better than i9100G, google yourself then you know. |

Exynos 4210 and OMAP4430 are SoC names. SoC consist of CPU and GPU. Cortex A9 is the CPU, Mali 400/SGX540 is the GPU. Now this time you're the one that should Google. QUOTE General Description Exynos 4210 is a system-on-a-chip (SoC) based on the 32-bit RISC processor for smartphones, tablet PCs, and Netbook markets. Exynos 4210 provides the best performance features such as dual core CPU, highest memory bandwidth, world's first native triple display, 1080p video decode and encode hardware, 3D graphics hardware, and high-speed interfaces such as SATA and USB. Exynos 4210 uses the CortexA9 dual core, which is 25% DMIPS faster than the CortexA8 core. It provides 6.4GB/s memory bandwidth for heavy traffic operations such as 1080p video en/decoding, 3D graphics display, and native triple display. The application processor supports dynamic virtual address mapping. This feature will help the software engineers to fully utilize the memory resources with ease. Believe me. I'm E&E major http://www.samsung.com/global/business/sem...m=Exynos%204210 Looking at the spec also I know non-G is better than G but you need to know that SGX540 is a few years old GPU. Amazing how it can still hold up to perform well enough after OC. Of course, not as good as Mali but it still does job well. Btw, don't forget Galaxy Nexus also using very same GPU, on a OMAP 4460 SoC So this is the one http://www.samsung.com/global/business/sem...10&xFmly_id=229 Cortex A8, exynos 3110 SoC is already designed for 1080p. No single core chipset from Qualcomm does this. Anyway, googling and found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NovaThor NovaThor Chipset, macam Exynos 4210 in disguise, will be powering Nokia Windows phone. Pretty interesting. QUOTE(CAC@MBO @ Dec 23 2011, 02:09 PM) ok. I'm not pro in E&E Really? Personally played S2 and Notes at Samsung SEP. Both works really smooth, no lag at all to me. Note is pretty amazing due to its extremely large screen. 5.3" but I can use it one handed. Pretty insane but about google-ing, I meant for knowing which 1 is better. people tried, and comment. just sad samsung change i9100 to i9100G, no wonder price drop from 2099 to 1899, LOLZ. my friend use galaxy notes and S2, he prefer S2 and said galaxy notes bit laggy. lolz. I just don't understand why Honeycomb tabs by Samsung are lagging even in home UI, to my eyes. Even the 7.0 Plus with Exynos (A9, Mali) also lagging while scrolling from one screen to another. S2 should be the perfect size, right for a phone. 7.7 is right for a tab. Note, somewhere in between is very weird. I can use it one handed but can't sleek it into my pocket. |

QUOTE(CAC@MBO @ Dec 23 2011, 02:52 PM) Titanium backup backups everything including Apps. How about mybackup pro? Titanium backup require root access. Won't work without rooting. So I googled and found that Mybackup pro does backup apps too. Then... what bother you to factory reset it? This post has been edited by IwanAGP: Dec 23 2011, 03:47 PM |
