But i'm saying SGX540 is powerful, never said at any clock speed. Yes, 200MHz like the one is Galaxy S really lose out to Adreno 205.
Rooting wise, if and only if they both are optimised the same way, you need to know the number of developers working on Nexus S since its launch back then. My friend got his nexus s rooted about 1 month after the launch date(not really sure, just a guess), that's not just rooted but with Custom rom. Many devs work on that because it's very easy to work with. No doubt, hardware wise 8255T wins but whether it can be as "efficient" as a rooted Nexus S with a nice ROM, different case.
It's like given same hardware, Mac OS can squeeze every bit of juice out of it while Windows still hang once in a while. Hope you get me  laugh.gif
*
thumbup.gif ok get you man.
SGX-series and Adreno series, I might possible get SGX too if possible,
for the SGX543 on ipad 2, currently the "best" gpu. lolz.
but i really like mali400. T_T
S2. lolz, why you so expensive.

wait, I should said, SAMSUNG why you give M'sia S2 with texus processor ~ T_T

may i ask?
do basically how long does it takes for gps to give us direction if we dont use any data plan?
*
Eh, see where you are? papago no need use data plan, so it's about the gps within it.
within building sure take long time as gps can't target you.
if outside, normally within 1-3minutes.
for me, I use speed view pro which help me track and lock gps, when it lock only i on papago,
so around 1-2minutes then can use dy.

Wow. That's a News for me. M'sia S2 not A9 with mali???

Ok, I get you...
Correction. It's Texas Chipset instead of Exynos. Same processor, different GPU. Both still using A9. I thought you can find Non-G version in the market?
*
Ms'a non-G version is exynos and mali400, G-version is the sxxk texas chipset.
can, second hand lo. XD lolz

wrong, A9 is just a concept how you build it, it's different processor.
1.2Ghz dual core Exynox 4210 and mali 400. ---> I9100
1.2Ghz dual core TI OMAP4430 and PowerVR540(@300mhz). --->I9100G

but i9100 is better than i9100G, google yourself then you know.

No no you're wrong.

Exynos 4210 and OMAP4430 are SoC names. SoC consist of CPU and GPU. Cortex A9 is the CPU, Mali 400/SGX540 is the GPU. Now this time you're the one that should Google.
Believe me. I'm E&E major  laugh.gif

http://www.samsung.com/global/business/sem...m=Exynos%204210

Looking at the spec also I know non-G is better than G but you need to know that SGX540 is a few years old GPU. Amazing how it can still hold up to perform well enough after OC. Of course, not as good as Mali but it still does job well.

Btw, don't forget Galaxy Nexus also using very same GPU, on a OMAP 4460 SoC
*
ok. I'm not pro in E&E tongue.gif .
but about google-ing, I meant for knowing which 1 is better.
people tried, and comment. just sad samsung change i9100 to i9100G,
no wonder price drop from 2099 to 1899, LOLZ.

my friend use galaxy notes and S2, he prefer S2 and said galaxy notes bit laggy.
lolz.

Really? Personally played S2 and Notes at Samsung SEP. Both works really smooth, no lag at all to me. Note is pretty amazing due to its extremely large screen. 5.3" but I can use it one handed. Pretty insane  tongue.gif
I just don't understand why Honeycomb tabs by Samsung are lagging even in home UI, to my eyes. Even the 7.0 Plus with Exynos (A9, Mali) also lagging while scrolling from one screen to another. S2 should be the perfect size, right for a phone. 7.7 is right for a tab. Note, somewhere in between is very weird. I can use it one handed but can't sleek it into my pocket.
*
really la. lolzz. but its vary from different device in hand gua.
i play my cousin galaxy notes, also quite smooth no lag.
well, the more talk about these all, the more I sad. lolz
i only own SGW. cry.gif

somemore phone got media scanner problem,
have to factory reset, AGAIN. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Titanium backup backups everything including Apps. How about mybackup pro? Titanium backup require root access. Won't work without rooting.

So I googled and found that Mybackup pro does backup apps too. Then... what bother you to factory reset it?  tongue.gif
*
ya, it does. actually not bother at all, just lazy to reinstall those apps and games.
for backup apps, no worry, I got all the installer in my ext_sd and laptop. (9-10gb) lolz.
ya, later do restore lo. just lazy.

I managed to move the data (about 624mb) to external_sd. However, this game required a little bit more trick than just editing all the smali file. The problem is, Gameloft even hardcoded the /sdcard/gameloft/... into it's binary: libEternalLegacy.so

So, in order to patch this game correctly to use /sdcard/external_sd/gameloft you also need to patch libEternalLegacy.so.

Being an amateur cracker, I take the easy way out... I hex-edit libEternalLegacy.so

CODE
/sdcard/gameloft/games/GloftELHP/

changed to

CODE
/data/s/gameloft/games/GloftELHP/

Then, I create a softlink in /data/s/ to point to /sdcard/external_sd/
CODE
ln -s /sdcard/external_sd/ s

With this softlink, anything that point to /data/s will automatically point to external_sd...
*
this 1 you did on the apk right? then you install and download data through wifi?
then all data will be in external sd?

actually nothing to be surprised about since xperia play also using this very same GPU and i think the developers purposely optimize their games for this GPU too so that they get a wider audience smile.gif
*
yeah. long time dy felt adreno 205 is good for gaming, since many HTC device use it for high end phones.
brows.gif plus the xperia play also. so should be ok.

actually android game they release, I don't care about amazing graphic, as long detail enough.
or cute type or graphic pun ok. as long is fun and ACTION?
haha. i like spiderman type of games.
or backstab? (too bad not available in SGW)
backstab gameplay similar to the PC assassin creed and it's total "lure" me,but too bad not available for SGW cry.gif
