Hi all si fuss here,

I just bought a M-line Persona last few months.

Overall, the car has no problem but i found some abnormal noise at my front disc brake since the first day i got my car.

Whenever i release the brake from static position/i stop my car from moving, then i will hear noise like "wonggg" or "uuuuu". The noise will get worse especially when i slow down my car by hitting on the brake pedal during parking.(Continuously "wonggg" or "uuuuu" noise which is annoying)

I went to a few service center and asked them regarding this problem and they just told me that this is NORMAL. Some of the technician told me that this is the design problem which cannot be fixed.(Is it true?) cry.gif

Actually i have read some of the article and from there the advice is to change brake pad.
I need some advice from all the sifus here, what kind of brake pad is suitable?? (some said ceramic pad?because it produce less noise and dust) rclxub.gif

P/S: i am newbie tongue.gif so hopefully can get some advice from all the sifuss

Did any hard braking before? stil using the ori brake pad?

Having the similar problems on my persona too..but seems occur only at rear brake (mine H-line spec)..using the ceramic nao brake pad-dust less but gt sm stretching sound smtimes...

Just today when change the black oil asked the sifu to checked---> the disk was not in the even surface so as the solution skim the disc and change the new brake pad...

havent get the car yet but seems it will solve the problems...

Seldom hear people skim the rear disc rotor as the wear is very little, unlike the front disc rotor....

Yes, you have to bed in the pad for it to bite. If not, then use Bendix with Titanium stripe that eliminate bedding in....

my campro also got that sound. Front brakes only. Pad change to Bendix and skimmed the rotor during installation. Brake perform nice and great but the sound still there. Quit annoyying. Should i change the brake fluid also? I dont think it's related. Hmm.. Any opinion?

How old is the brake fluid? It should be changed yearly, if not at least every 2 years.

Brake noise normally between pads and disc. What type of noise also? Did they fit back the backing plate for the pads?
