Can I just continue using my old Xbox live ID which is Singapore region I believe and use my Malaysian CC to buy apps on Singapore region?

I can't do that right? Because I am using a Malaysian credit card. When I try adding the card its impossible because my billing address is set to Singapore. I've tried my Malaysian credit card using Singapore postcode like some said here but it did not work and the site says please enter a valid credit card. Although it did charge $2 SGD to my card, twice, cause I received sms from my bank.

But wait. I can seem to add my Malaysian paypal account to my SG xbox live account. I have not tried adding any points yet though. Will purchasing WP apps through the marketplace use points? If yes I can try if I can add funds into my xbox account. I don't want to waste it as I don't play the xbox anymore and have no use for the points.
