guys.. currently my spl is 5.1. if i wan to load the custom rom, means that i need to downgrade it to 1.xx?

i got the europe rom from ansar
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411904) to flash first. After flashed, then i use the 7004 asia rom to flash again, will it be works?
