Got my white lumia 900 on thursday. Today (Sunday) found the Nokia shop in The Curve selling silicon covers/bumpers for Lumia 900 at RM29.90...which is supposedly promo price.

Anyway, i'm having trouble to use the Maxis dial code *100#, and all others i know of in Maxis. It says waiting..and about 2 seconds later "session terminated". Anyone knows how to fix that? Or is this a limitation of the OS?

Hey guys,

My dad is planning to get a Lumia 610 as his next phone, but this will be his first smartphone. Do you think the Lumia 610 is a good start? Is it easy to get used to using it? And are there any limitations or anything about WP7 that he should know of before buying?

Thanks smile.gif

Get the Lumia 710 instead. 610 is the low spec version of WP, so some limitation are in place.

WP does have it's limitations, but nothing i can't live without...but perhaps the fact i cant natively share files via Bluetooth comes close.

Frankly, this is the era of cloud storage. Skydrive/Dropbox should be your new best friend.

That may be true, but I can't go asking friends i want to share pics or a files with to "go register for skydrive, i'll send you the link" smile.gif All they want is for me to send the pic to their phone.

But like you said, it is the cloud storage era and i don't NEED Bluetooth file transfer, but that would be really nice to have. Not everyone has a smartphone...yet
