That aside, is there any way to auto forward sms to a specific number, similar to call forwarding?

Maybe try this. I often face this on my Mozart as well. Turn off data connection. Wait 3 seconds. Turn it back on. Wait 3 seconds. Then try surfing again.and maxis line...
