QUOTE(v1900130 @ Apr 13 2012, 11:28 PM) Base on my experience, Android is not worth going for low-end phones. Unless you really LOVE Android and you have no money for it. I have a low-end Android phone like Wildfire and then a "loaned" high-end phones like Sensation. Both on Android, Android is getting like "Windows" on PC. You need to format the phone once a while to keep it smooth and fast. Now, no matter how hard I try, my Wildfire is very very slow. And the Sensation is laggy. I had a test drive of Lumia 800 from a friend for a period, I can say I love the buttery smooth UI. As I said, unless you have feelings for Android, otherwise I would say Lumia 710 is a fast and good phone. I wouldn't mind owning a high end Android. Albeit I can root and use custom roms on it. Manufacturers really have to tinker with the OS and that's what makes the fragmentation a bit of a pain. This is where iOS and WP7 triumphs. You can tinker, but not much and still provides their main agenda, laglessness. But still, it's all down to what language these OSes are done with. This post has been edited by Chyan: Apr 14 2012, 07:03 PM |

Anyone knows which specific thread on XDA or sites that has NoDo rom? I want to downgrade for HSPL and to flash into custom deepshining rom on my Mozart. Been using this phone for 8 months already.

QUOTE(xcen @ Apr 15 2012, 11:24 AM) Hmm... weird. Yeah. For apps on WP7, it's quite a bugger. It can only have that kinda previous state resume done via the longpress backbutton but not if you repress the app again. I have a quibble with this after spending much time with WP7. It is different with the browser though as it still keeps the tabs (surely they had to). But it bugs me when toast notifications only can get you to the main view and not the specific page. It's quite annoying especially when you click on a whatsapp message and will have to wait for it to reload rather than straightaway go to that chat. I hope they fix this issue for WP8.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eM9JHlS47M&feature=related If you noticed, when he pressed the Facebook app on the iPhone, it loads immediately and as you can see, he already has his side bar menu opened, suggesting that the app is restored to its previous state, much like Android. |

Apparently "SophieCam" was from a Malaysian developer. http://www.nerdattack.com.my
A real quality image editing app I'd say! Complement with my frequently used Fhotoroom app as well. This post has been edited by Chyan: Apr 24 2012, 11:40 PM |

QUOTE(JasonWilton @ Apr 28 2012, 03:43 PM) if we are all not able to upgrade to wp8 later on, nokia will continue to bankrupt and I will be going for iOSĀ The way you've phrased your sentence, it sounds like WP8 is worthless to you. So yeah, Wp7 might not be available for upgrade, I thus won't upgrade to any of the newer Wp7 devices now. But surely I'll look forward what WP8 has in store since Intel launched their new core chips. I won't mind buying another for the sake of a better overall UI experience. Just got myself a G.Nex. I'll be waiting for WP8's arrival. Basically am blown when MS said Mango can't be updated to WP8. Hope to see good stuff coming from them soon.

QUOTE(Foo Mun @ May 5 2012, 03:17 PM) Did Microsoft announced that WP7 can't upgrade to WP8? I didn't see any announcement from Microsoft, just read many rumor mention WP7 can't upgrade to WP8. At the end, rumor is just rumor, can't take it 100% true... I had my Mozart and it'd be a shame if let say I'd upgrade to Lumia 800 among all the rumours that came about. Well, I need something new anyway. It's my first time, so why not to get a developer's Google phone. This post has been edited by Chyan: May 5 2012, 06:40 PM |

Hi guys. I'm selling my Mozart here. Just to inform anyone who lives in Kuching. Though, seems a bit hard to get a buyer.
