QUOTE(singa89 @ Mar 16 2012, 12:20 PM) wp7 is smooth since it existed .. no? how can u say ios is smoother than the wp7 versions before tango tango is jz a minor update nyway well... for many games or apps run... i have to say IOS run smoother than wp7. thats a fact because we place 2 device run on PvZ, Let's Golf and some others. it sure run faster and smoother than WP7. and i am not comparing dual core IOS with single core Wp7 device. i tested with iphone 3GS. as for the tango... i am current having the 8773(which is the office update code for tango) on my samsung device and i have compare it side by side with 8107 built and IOS. no doubt the 8773 build still buggy... but it does run smoother and to me slightly better or par with IOS. Will you recommend a HTC Mozart to your friends? The touchscreen problems are deterring me from recommending to my friends, but most of them do not feel like forking out RM900 for a Lumia 710 without developer unlock ability either.

I think the biggest thing that would happen in WP8 would be native code support with lots of software optimization for many of the bigger app developers and Microsoft.
Next would obviously be Skype integration and the updated hardware would bring the much needed speed improvements.
While a lot of apps are smooth and fast, when I use the native app provided in WP7, I always feel a very big difference in loading speed and fluidity that no other apps are able to emulate.

QUOTE(de-facto-idiot @ Mar 14 2012, 11:35 AM) My guess is content licensing issue. So far, only regions with Zune music marketplace have Bing music enabled. You can get the Bing music enabled, you have to go to settings>region+language scroll down to the last field "browser & search language". Change it to one of these following countries : US, UK, Canada, Australia or France. Bing Music icon should now show up on your Bing search together with the other icons This post has been edited by spider: Mar 17 2012, 12:32 AM

This give room for developers the freedom they need and lift their limit i think opengl is graphic accelerator, not really a code and android apps also come from apis from google

Very convinience while driving when i can just tap the tile rather than need a few step to access the info..
