Hi guys.

I am having a problem with my IPhone 5 since this morning. it doesn't recognize maxis and still in 'searching' status until now.
using IOS 6.0.2. tested my nano sim to my friend's phone, no issues at all. however when I put in my friend's nano sim to my phone, same issue. so I guess it's not the sim card issue.

I dont think the latest IOS has the option to manually search for phone carrier. thinking of heading to maxis centre later.. sigh sad.gif

Have you try "reset network settings"?

Yes I did, couple of times in fact. Called maxis centre to reset whatever they can do on their end. They asked me to switch off then turn back on again after 10 mins (i waited half an hour).

When I turn on the phone, it doesn't ask for my PIN number. usually it pops out itself when we slide open rclxub.gif
