Hi there, Iphone 5S user here.

As I'm using my 5S normally,suddenly it shuts down and stuck at the apple logo.
I try restoring to ios 9.2.1, the restore go through in itunes. But after my phone restart, there was a second loading bar at my iphone, and it just stuck there forever. I try different Windows (7,8,10) still the same results. I try downgrade to ios 9.0.2 but to no avail, itunes just give me an error 3194.

Please help, As I don't have any phone to use right now

Hey guys, I just noticed today there's yellow edges around my 5s screen. Should be the infamous glue issue or others. Few days ago, if I'm not mistaken, there no problem.

Or is it because I have just updated to iOS 9.2.1 from 8.4? As I try to recall, I don't think there is this problem during my period using 8.4.

Anyone of you is facing this problem too? So how did you deal with it? As for me, it's okay using it, just that when you're under settings, messages, or any white background, the yellow edges appear and it seems to annoy me.

It's the Touch IC connection issue.. Same issue with my 6 plus 128gb.. Out of warranty so just have to live with it till ip7..

Any of u know of any shop that could do micro-BGA board level repair work to replace the Touch IC?

As u know the problem lies from the Ball Grid Array on the Touch IC chip.. It's a manufacturing flaw by Apple as the chip has bad connections to the board.. U can't reflow the BGA as the contact pads might have oxidized.. So the only feasable solution is to replace the chip as it comes pre-balled new..
