Some simple pattern like this. LFS not selling the more natural look background such as rocky or tree trunk look

tis background quite nice and its different from the pattern i bought from LFS.
at least its not the usual one in lfs but its still quite expensive.

just a small one will do, a standard 2ft tank is about 50 liter. normally we use a pump with a circulation of 10x
so a 500l/h pump is enough

this is really quite subjective to your own needs, budget, aesthetics, etc

i dun see a need to use canister filter for 2ft tank unless u got big budget to spend

I guarantee no money for canister. rm150 also kena pikir the money can stretch how many months before it kaput.

birchir (polypterus) i read can comm with anything that eat meat.
But make sure the size is a match. Oscar fast grower, poly slow.

So bigger poly is bigger money. My oscar is 16cm..sheez~~ and here i thought my baby is only 10cm

saw some birchir at my local LFS, rm15 per head lolz..

Just measured my oscar, it's 16cm. so no birchir can match.
The large ones comes with big money.

no idea as it come stored inside a plastic bag , label said tree bark, didn't molest it cos i have no use of it
they also sell those mangrove wood very cheap , rm4.50 for a 15cm-20cm++ big chunk.
if i go again i will check for you. I take the assumption it is real tree bark wood cos it put beside the real mangrove wood and the label
didn't said artificial tree bark.

dead wood easier to rot than lives one, unless been heat treated, in my opinion la
