yours is Heterometrus spinifer. I not sure Malaysia forest scorpion is belongs to which type. but Heterometrus spinifer or Heterometrus longimanus look similar

optical zoom is the real zoom , so you'd actually see the object closer. but digital zoom is actually enlarge the actual size of the object, and make u hv the illusion that the object getting closer..

my asian forest also just moulted. I tot he dead when i first saw it. after observed for awhile I found he actually moulting. they took longer time to moult compare to tarantula

yesterday i still saw it moving during moulting. now it doesnt move at all!! anyone can giv me a clue??????

my asian forest confirm dead. it had been teared into pieces. sigh great lost.. rear it for 3 months already

i keep 2 same sp scorpions together. i guess the 1 died is because i terlanggar the container during his moulting. after that i dun see him move anymore. I left him there because i thought he might be sleeping or what. few hours later I open the container and saw him torn apart

nvm la.. now the 1 enjoy living alone. .. i guess
