i wudnt dare keep so many deadly scorpions in 1 complex enclosure. the most also 6 only. cos if 30 means no time to count. im sure not all his tanks like taht la. just 1 or 2 showcases ma. deco nice nice, very impressive and nice to view compared to plastic containers or bare tank all the time.
here's another nice setup i saw. one day wanna custom make a whole shelf like this! haha |

sorry for the double post.. something wrong wif browser that time, realised only after refreshed. will post my tank pic soon. btw, we cant post pics from other forums? how did u come up wif the term "hijacking" balthasar? does that make me a forum "terrorist"? im merely sharing the pics to a wider audience. not like im profitting from it. i dont c any "copyright" stated on the pics. besides, those owners wud be proud to share their work, otherwise they wont post in the first place. whats ur issue?

QUOTE(Balthasar @ Nov 28 2006, 06:52 PM) Erm...if u wanna use someone's pix, u gotta ask for their permission... erm... if u wanna advise others, u shud do so politely. u shudn't accuse ppl with such a harsh term like "highjack". (its ethics). anyway i dunwan to go on wif this topic anymore. i'll mention the owner's name next time.Taking without permission is as good as stealing. No need to put copyright or watsoever...its ethics...if u wanna post a link to the pix, just put a reference/credits to the site or the owner of the pix. This is how we respect the owner. hey shadowcaster, how did ur AFS get so fat? mealworm buffet? |

QUOTE(shadowcaster @ Nov 29 2006, 03:04 PM) powerfeeding. I feed it with mealworms till full full...it will look like that. It hasnt been eating for 2 weeks already...signs of molting (considering that the other one has molted a week ago). Also when pre-molt, its activity decreases and the plates have gaps in between them. very fat man.. look like gona explode anytime. but y u wanna make them so fat? any purpose or just for fun? hahaa |

my AFS were mating quite actively. in just within 20minutes, there were 2 spermatophores. not sure if its from the same pair.
1. What happens to these spermatophores? They'll just stick there forever or dry out and fall off? 2. Is there any instant sign of succesful transfer? 3. Can the same male release 2 spermatophores within a short period? |

QUOTE(Draken @ Dec 7 2006, 11:04 AM) Hey huojin, I started "falling" in love with scorps the same way. I went for a exotics pet display when I was a kid, and the handler placed a few AFS on me. Although s*%t scared at first, my passion grew after that point! cool! hahaha.. same case. u were a brave kid hehe |
