you have to know why you cant follow? Of course you need to be more specific why you aren't able to follow. Maybe you depts and basic aren't good enough. Or you can't get what they are talking about. Or those are not that type of chords you are looking for.

How i learn is this very cool method from utube.. If it's a major chord.. start frm the root note..Formula for major chord is 1-3-2 and minor 1-2-3 Let say C chord, press C and skip 3 keys and press it..and then skip 2 and press it..that will be ur chord..same as minor...follow the formula only
