Cvt maintains your engine peak power while changing the gear ratio. Makes your car faster just that you don't feel the oomph cause no gear shift mah. Even cvt was Banned in formula one.

why not go one round drag test with eric (after he fix his bumper) . Find your peak power band on the rev and maintain it. On paper, there's already difference. unless eric already has some goodies under the hood.

if you're mentioning the slowness is the response on immediate pedal, or the rev moves faster than speedo, then i cannot say much lah. Based on my personal drive and chasing with a CVT car in urban traffic, it's fast and it's no easy task to follow it even when it's an auto vehicle. Unless proton screws up the CVT TCU.
