QUOTE(AMenzZ @ Jan 9 2012, 12:46 PM) not rubbish la... Really? through my experience, CVT have higher rev at uphill bends and tight corners*. full throttle/normal highway drive doesnt feel much... I feel engine response better if use it at trunk road/climbing hill (low-mid speed), coz it rev at higher rpm as the tendency to change "gear" is slower.. *Not at genting. Just a short ride around Bird park and Lake Garden, Old road from bangi to Nilai. Maybe once after my first service i'll test it around genting or Ulu Yam. |

QUOTE(sophan @ Jan 9 2012, 02:44 PM) nope.. diff category... VS is for regulating... mayb not for performance but it's working to reduce lag/jerk caused by current instability... this 1 i cant explain more coz i never ask around about this...those i mentioned talking about pusing2 twist the air b4 masuk TB, but to they know how small is the airway inside TB and how small is the valve opening? and how belok2 the airway in TB? even u bring an angel to help u twist the air also useless... summore i ask them provide dyno chart for their claim (normally will say 30% fuel saving & performance increase)... they cant... any performance upgrade will show u the dyno chart to prove their claim... as a buyer, we need facts, not BS talk.. hehehehe.. |

QUOTE(sophan @ Jan 9 2012, 02:44 PM) VS juz a "bank" of capacitors which helps store to release current when needed. It supplements 12V supply to maintain voltage thus preventing 2much voltage drop. As such, VS does work...efficiency depends on total capacity in module. Juz dun expect all the claims 2b 100% true...a certain %age probably? 1 more thing, some of such product will cause air restriction which can reduce the intake volume hence less fuel needed for combustion means less fuel consumption... wanna sacrifice power for the sake of FC? hahahahah...
