Time 2share another DIY mod to my trusty 1.3FL Exec Auto.... 

Yup, as previously mentioned in earlier pages, me was waiting for delivery of ordered AMT Power Cushion Buffers for front & rear springs.
Well, they arrived earlier this morning and me straightaway got down to installing them! Haha! 

As they say, pics say a thousand words...so here they are :


Me went for a short spin arnd the block, testing the suspension feel over uneven roads & even humps/bumps!
Wat can I say? Not bad...suspension felt firmer like having stiffer shocks/springs and the ride was more solid overall! 

Feel worthwhile small investment for a better ride...  

ps. Was supplied with Size C for the Front Springs & Size B for the Rear. However need to cut abt 3.5cm from ends of each Buffer for the Rear to get a good fit.

that's good. the longer the mileage, the better the engine will perform, plus cvt helps a lot. same happens to my flx after replaced cvt oil pump, fc improve  a bit. my mileage only 5k.

another thing with cvt + iafm+, on higher rpm, the acceleration quite similar to vtec, even when u release the acceleration pedal and hit it back, the power is still there, no power loss at all.. it's matching the engine rpm i believe.. that's the benefit of cvt.

Hi guys, my gear (flx manual) got klak/krak sound when shifting from Neutral to first, and from 2nd to 3rd gear. Shift to/from other gear no krak sound. I searched the net, most say syncro worn down. Is it possible? My car milage only 6k wooo.. Already send to SC for 2nd service, mechanic say no problem, but the sound keep bugging me.

because most auto cars is a 4 speeder and therefore the ratio has to be spread more evenly compared with 5 speed manual and hence the longer ratios in normal auto car.

ATM it feels like me driving a car fitted with "heavy-duty shocks" eg. like when me had Monroe Sensatrac abs on my ole ride... 

too bad, no.. i didn't go with them, but the sound didn't always came up but frequent enough they bug me, mostly when I rev to 3k, depress clutch then shift to gear 3 then got sound before releasing clutch pedal.. got explaination it's new gearbox so I accept their expalanation the gear got no problem.. thanks for the advice..

u need to wait till the sound more frequent abit...go SC...ask them to test drive with u...thn u identify the sound for them only they know what to fix

why you all mileage so high .... i drive until 300km fuel indicator lit up already
