Can share how car felt after fitting @rear only? Benefits as advertised? TQ!

Opps sorry, not really tested as my car most of the time is my small family only. But before fixing the Amt spring buffer, I felt the rear like bouncy a bit on high speeds so I felt compelled to fix at least the rear.

Hi, I would like to know the Petrol Consumption for your Manual FLX, sorry Eric, Since I see there is not much discussion about Manual FLX being discussed
I would like to know if the changes of GB from Aichi Kikai to Getrag and IAFM+ engine does improve the performance and Petrol Consumption for the car just like
how proton claim? Anyone can do comparison about this? The only fact I know is Getrag have lower RPM when cruising at high speed compared to aichi kikai GB.
Last question that stuck in my head is...  Does CVT petrol Consumption does better than Getrag?  hmm.gif

btw I think PC sounds better than FC in this thread  laugh.gif

Hi Eric, Bro, yes, we know this has been discussed like 15000+ times but every once in a while we should allow a review right? biggrin.gif tongue.gif

Anyway on highway, the FC didn't vary much from city driving if you were driving your car above 140km/h which was quite fun actually. It could reach 160km/h with a little effort, only i couldn't reach the acclaimed 165km/h top speed due to inconsiderate lorry drivers cutting into my fast lane ever so often, forcing me to brake and avoid an accident....

Anyway Bro Zero5177, yes the change from the Aichi Kikai to Getrag GB did have some changes. The RPM for 110 km/h at 5th gear has been reduced like 300rpms. Around 8% better. At top speed, your engine need not have to work so hard.

Erm, CVT petrol consumption, dunno about that, I am using the manual. However according to Proton the CVT will outperform the FL's Auto fuel consumption.
