Copy to phone internal sdcard not external sdcard

Put in phone internal SD card. CWM 4 can only read from internal SD. Only CWM 5 can read from external SD.

Bootloop is ok as long as you can get into CWM you are safe. Speedmod can give bootloop?? I think most of the custom general kernel like speedmod, siyah etc does not support 2.3.3. Better flash CF kernel to root.

No need as you are already rooted with CWM. The bootloop probably because of kernel incompatibility. Just flash a custom rom from CWM and your good to go. What rom are you flashing?

just flash the rom. after that, u can choose kernel in Rom Kitchen app in rom and flash it.

I don't tink so. Just use chainfire to flash cos it edi has clockworkmod and changed kernel.. then proceed with checkrom flashing.
