agreed. if you need a new phone and found one that meets your requirements... and you can afford it, just but it! waiting does not serve any purpose except... you see things go by and you end up still having nothing.

logic is... there's a replacement model every 9-12mths. there are also new models in between. when SGS3 comes out, probably it will be at rm2199 (sgs2 ori launch price). then ppl will say its expensive and wait for price drop. 6mths later, price drops and then ppl say... sgs3 is old model and might as well wait fotr sgs4. and then maybe note 2 is also out by then... then what not.

to me... as long as the phone meets your current and expected near future requirements... no need to think liao.

if you dowan to install any apps... then just go to settings -- about phone -- battery (or one of those options). it will give you the batt temp.

quite sure local carriers won't bother to pay the company to use it. however, those overseas sets (like those branded as vodaphone, etc) might wanna do a check...

this Carrier IQ thingy, i think Sprint (US) already admitted to using their service...

sorry... i think i could have been mistaken. quite sure i seen it before without using widgets/ apps... but could not seem to find it... sorry... i guess have to install apps/ widgets.

i normally use widgetsoid... coz can also set other things including button to turn off screen. no need to press power button that many times.

can you disable your signature... its bl00dy annoying... not a good way for me to start monday.

Added on December 5, 2011, 9:58 amguys... i noticed samsung apps now have got even more free games... some are good RPG kinda games... sorry, can't remember the name at the moment (just recall got part 1 and part 2 of the game -- quite popular).

i checked and sadly, the same is not available on Note. dun even show up on my Note when i open Samsung Apps.

also... tapatalk is free on Samsung Apps... slightly old version but hey... FREE.

if i'm not mistaken, the 3G symbol should be rotating... i know that happens on my Note. it will show 3G for a few seconds... and then H+ for a few seconds, and go back to 3G. it should actually still be H+ or H... see; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3G#Overview
