Samsung is the one that design the batt and charger so i believe the best care for the batt is to use the charging rate that they have set. I don't think charging overnight will spoil the batt cos the charging auto cutoff when the batt is full. But some are of the opinion that heavy using the phone while charging is not good for the batt. Constantly replenishing the battery due to heavy usage while charging + the heat generated could be a bad combo.

Just use the stock task manager (long press home button) will get the job done.

And... you don't need to kill your program no matter they are active or not as long as they do not cause unnecessary wakelock to you.

Consistently killing apps that will re-launch itself is a bad idea too as it will re-launch again and suck your juice. Make sense now?

Androids kill idle apps on its own. By not using task killer my device have never slowed down and my batt last just as long as others.

Proximity sensor.

guys,any g version user faced battery issue?let say b4 i restart phone and battery stat is 60%.after restart,my battery will show 30% and it will auto increase slowly.sometime my battery become 6% when i restart phone even my battery having 70%.any advice?

my sgs 2 will turn off by itself. happened 6 times since i got the phone last month.

Yes, after swipe to accep a call, there seems to be a delay (~ 1 sec)  before I can hear the other side.
Another thing, the touch sensor seems to wake up quite slow. When I press the home button to turn on the screen (from idle, screen off), if i swipe to unlock IMMEDIATELY after the display is turned on, the screen seems not so responsive and most of the times won't unlock.

It means, there is about 0.5sec delay AFTER the display is turned on before the touch sensor is fully working.

To test this, let your display turn off by itself, press home button and wait for the display to turn on, then IMMEDIATELY swipe to unlock.

Anyone else?
