Antt00 are you around? You use adw ex right.. do you ever had any problem where the wallpaper keep zooming in. Try resizing the wallpaper also didn't work for me. Went through all the setting still can't make it stay the way I want. When I change to tw launcher it look fine then change back to adw ex the wallpaper stay the way I want it to but after unlock or received call the wallpaper zoom in back again. Getting so frustrated with it :pullhair: help!

Live wallpaper gonna take alot of juice. I just don't want my pic to zoom in randomly on portrait mode sweat.gif

If you use static picture, why would it suck your juice?

But the app you suggested isn't it for multi pics live wallpaper.
*
Yes. It needs to be a Live Wallpaper in order to "take over" the stock wallpaper settings.

Live wallpaper CPU usage is depend on the "heaviness" of the wallpaper itself, so static picture should still be consider as the stock wallpaper method. Although it may suck more juice, but the amount is so small that you don't realize anything at all.

just flashed Jkay 13.1 smile.gif now notification toggle buttons can be reorder and chosen according to your liking.. new quick panel buttons is useful but too bad only allow one custom application shortcut sad.gif

another thing i like is now u can hide the vibration indicator in the status bar.

other things all work like it's supposed to..

Update: ok I was mistaken, any of the buttons in the quick panel can be long pressed to be replaced by any other app, woohoo!

Walao A song ah song ah!

ALL of the panel shortcut can be customize. Just long press on any existing shortcut and you will be prompt to select from the list of your apps. icon_rolleyes.gif

hey guys i got something to ask, lets say i 100% confirm wont use data since im on prepaid. is it safe to delete APN settings? means even though data plan is tick in settings, my phone wont connect online? i dont use MMS also
*
Then it's better if you just keep your data off. When data is off (as well as Wifi) app won't try to push updates. Hence, no wakelock (save battery).

hehe.. looks like everyone answer you already. the reason why I switch to umobile is for the everyday free calls. RM28 data is just an added bonus thumbup.gif
*
How the everyday free call works? Is it related to the 100 minutes free call to all network?

Is there anyone like me who dislike using case?

The only thing I am worried is the camera lens. Any idea to make the lens part "higher" or immune to scratch? (I mean the clear glass, not the part with 8MP written)

Batt life very poor for this device.
*
Did you even do calculation, brah

60 minutes = ~8% of battery

100% worth of battery can last him 12.5 HOURS of on-screen (without doing anything like touching, browsing, etc of course)

average screen time with auto-brightness is around 4-5hours for almost all the average user out there (with interaction with the device of course)

So why is his battery life poor?

hmmm is anyone using a better app than task panel(task killer)
i feel mine one cant kill it clean  sad.gif
*
Just use the stock task manager (long press home button) will get the job done.

And... you don't need to kill your program no matter they are active or not as long as they do not cause unnecessary wakelock to you.

Consistently killing apps that will re-launch itself is a bad idea too as it will re-launch again and suck your juice. Make sense now?

May i know, after I install siyahv2.3. where can I do the setting like ondemand, conservative.
What is the default governor setting of siyahv2.3?
TQ
*
Search for Voltage Control at Android Market. It pair very well with Siyah's kernel. Default should be ondemand and I am using that.

Guys who use external SD, what file system did you all use besides FAT32? Your ROM/kernel can support it?

Want to eliminate the 4GB limitation of FAT32.

I thought can only use fat32.

From what I read form XDA, you can use other format such as NTFS/ext3/ext4, but you may need to mount it manually (or through script). Trying to find out from here how others did theirs.

I thought those format can only be externally mounted via the usb. Not sure if it can be used for the microsd.  hmm.gif
*
You may be right too! Since I never tested it personally. So meanwhile let's wait for anyone that did it successfully.

You're using stock video app right? It shouldn't sleep while the video is playing.

Using another charger will help to charge faster.
*
I think a higher charging rate charger will still be useless if you are not using a kernel that allows you to change the charging rate.

try using fasterfix can get it thru market.. set it to asia or malaysia just test both see which works for u.. for me asia setting works faster.. but really la my ACE could get faster lock then my SGS2 dont know why even though i could see a lot of sats using gps test plus but none of the is locking in not after a while though..
*
I don't know it's just me or what.

Using GPS status (with AGPS: ON) and first lock takes > 30 seconds. I heard quite a number of forumers here said they can get a lock below 10 seconds. Already change my NTP server to MY.

aGPS need either data/wifi to work. Sensor aiding not important for locking purpose.

I already had data turned ON and GPS status also shown agps data downloaded. Sigh.

Outside + Criskelo ROM (same case for every ROM from stock to custom I ever used)

Which NTP server are you using? What's in your gps.conf?
