Check your APN settings : Setting/Wireless Network/Mobile Nework/Access Point Names - phone should auto detect these and installed . Or you try key in the values again ( refer page 1 post #8 )

Hi all,

I have purchased my SGS 2 the first day of the launch at MV and was lucky to be the first 300. However I have been facing problems with the phone such as auto restart. Tolerable? Yes.

Not until I am facing the problem below:

Phone shows "Fully charged, unlpug charger" although it is not connected.

When restart, phone shows charging sign and a thermometer warning sign though unplugged.

Phone cannot restart unless charger is plugged in.


It is annoying. I know that it is my mistake that I cannot find my receipt but now I need to know where to claim the warranty for this batch of phone and how.

Kindly assist if possible.

Yup,juz sign up a data plan yesterday.

wat is the latest firmware?2.3.5?

Did you use any casing.? As some tight casing can make your screen on/off with a slight touch. Some can even make into power off resulting phone shutdown.

If you like/loves flashing custom roms then go for non-G SGSII. If you like much bigger screen and last longer in battery then go to Note. Both phones can be rooted without any problems :-)

for anyone facing phone autoshutdown..mine happened early this week..i thought is the HD game that i download from samsung apps...then i uninstall all hd game, but still same, then i took out battery and put back fix the problem...coz i remember i swap battery with spare before that...

so troubleshooting technique, if problem happened after something u do, try to undo the thing you do last...settle problem..

hey guys.. wanna ask, when u boot into ClockWorkMod, if u press apply zip from sd, usually u can go into ur internal sd or it leads u into external?

cos mine suddenly lead me to external already.. before this it will go internal sd right away. really weird.
