the old timer who start the BH already make a tone of money. Currently they focus on other thing, such as Budget hotel, properties, land....

the new comer mostly will be suffer.

I not saying the business not good, it still ok to invest if you have extra money. Last peak 1kgs can sell up to 4k (all in no matter is Grade a, yin zan, bird shit within the nest) the dealer just sapu all & give you cash on hand.

after the China ban incident, license needed, greedy parties want to monopoly the export,,,,,i believe the BN price still hanging below rm 2.5k per kgs. (is not the updated price)

if you have extra money, just invest in the existing BH which already have nest. Let say more than one thousand nest within is a good starting. You just need to improve it better instead of buying a bad shape coz it hard to turn it back to good shape.  But you have to get a details how long the BH been operate to have one thousand BH (within 4-5 year from 0 having more than 1k bird nest is best ) . Look around & how many BH surrounding. You have to better than other to attract the new bird coming in.  There always an opportunity that owner will let go a good BH (ex. retire, nobody take care, enough to invest at other.......)
