Why rushing suddenly? Rally with just two weeks notice....btw, why none of the associations inform members n u think u can group enough ppls with such short notice? Heard they have collected rm120k so far...how much they needed?

Just a note, the rally objectives did not object the first thing tht most of us ask, why RFID when china govt only request below 30 for nitrite content of bn.
This rally some how has only ask our govt to stop RFID in farms but never object RFID tneeded to export, if this is final..tht only RFID processing plants in Malaysia are allow to export, no other ppls allow to enter this trade.....
The time is too short,by the time association ready,it might be too short notices for all members to come forward...maybe we can assist association to contact all our friends to get ready on 21st....it will a failure to selangor association if we are not able to get at least 3,000 selangor farmers to come to the rally.

Can pm me? 4D prediction???? Added on July 10, 2012, 6:21 pmQUOTE(Awakened_Angel @ Jul 9 2012, 05:41 PM) OK... thanks.. the populations seems to be stagnant for the past several months.... My BH is located on 1st floor shop by the road... however, behind my shop is a mini residential(100-150 terrace) then followed by forest(scrubs, palm oil, rubber tree, etc) then lastly a river.... the drop in price and chaotic red tapes makes me wonder if swiftlet ranching is a sustainable investment in long run.... In the long run, just liked ginseng or tong Chung chao, there will always be demand for bn...but don't expect the price to recover for the next 3 years...it will rise back when supply is short again which I see none....I wish it will recover in 3 weeks though....but the wish never come true ....n I been wishing ever since for the past 10 months....n still wishing... QUOTE(philoswiflet @ Jul 10 2012, 09:08 PM) The Bersih 3.0 rally/demonstration in KL for a clean election is yellow... the anti-Lynas Perhimpunan Hijau is Green (Environment as in Green Peace) and now bird nests farmers are staging our demo on 21-7-12... what color should we take for to represent us? Should we use Red as in the Red nests that landed us in such a protracted troubles? Red can means anger as in the English expression... Seeing Red... Well, we are seeing red in the dramatic fall in prices in bird nests since a year ago and there is just no relief in sight... the government is causing this industry terrible harm by the way it had been handling this matter... how long must we wait before its resolved? They chose Light Blue as they are mainly from tht group.

The stadium have plenty of parking spaces,if stadium cannot accommodate, we can stand outside, but with the slow action fr organiser in selangor, we need to SMS all selangor farmers urgently so tht they can come.
I think the event will have lots of press peoples there.....we need to let our pm see the number of farmers, family affected by it.....2 or 3k is just way too small.....
We have to flood the stadium n the parking lots till the side of road.
It is a forum, it is not a protest yet. So, I think nothing going to happen there even we have 10,000 ppls there..

From it seems to be protest then becomes rally then now becomes DISCUSSIONS or what they called forum?
We are discussing with whom I wonder? Is our PM going to come to have dialog with all members? Or we are discussing with each other?
Discuss what?? To discuss to stop RFID???
Then what?? To again organise another rally or protest to voice our dilemma?
Why have to do two times???
Do we have enough crowd by then if frustrated farmers tht come on 21 found tht it. Is nothing but just another discussion among us? Will it help in solving the problem??

Received SMS fr friends tht vet is instructed to stop issue any permit to export bn to HK last week pending the implementation of RFID. Anyone here aware abt this?
The prices of bn already drop so low without any buyers coming n now cut the only lifeline tht we might have...what they want fr us??
Malaysia is so much different from other country,I think chit chai can share some with us here about their govt in Thailand. Mini loans are given to farmers to start new farming business and existing farmers to grow their business 10 years ago now n see what happen? A lot of them prosperous n local economy supported by farmers as they employ the locals and buy equipments n etc.
What do we get from our govt? A robe?
Angry bird is good idea, we should wear black T instead of light blue.

Already confirmed by today news, vds stop bn export to hongkong.
Why? Who instruct them to do tht? Why we stop it? Did china issue ban on importing of bn to HK too?
Also Melaka president,John Chen, ask all farmers to come n voice out for NO RFID.
Pls SMS all ur farmer friends to SMS to the following no to register, provides ur full name, last four digits of ur ic no n contact no to person in charge,I think tuck fock shares it in previous post.
They said they need 20,000 farmers to come to support. Thts more like it, forum or protest or discussion....who cares? Go show them our anger...
That's good idea about shits, maybe can put in a small plastic ziplock bag, mix shits with some water n throw to the hazer n haze helpers.
Tht will be great publicity n great stories for the press.
Any wet shit bags sponsor?
No need lah, just bring one bag each.

Our agri mb said he don't understand why farmers organising the forum this weekend as he already said no RFID in farms but only RFID in processing plants.
Actually why we have forum this week then?
Our aim is no RFID at all or no RFID in farms?
The organiser said only 2000 register so far to attend this weekend forum.
While another bn processor tht said he managed to change his company products range n concentrate in bn bottles range n it is selling well in china.he also said The situation now is those tht represented farmers to have dialog with the govt officers had agreed with the govt suggestion on things liked RFID, n u can see tht even association heads now own proceeding plants tht is RFID friendly anticipating govt new ruling tht only allow bn export by those plants, but now when farmers realised what actually happening, they start to oppose it...tht cause all the chaos.
He is right, why's that? Did the association representative ask farmers opinions or ever fight for farmers benefits or ever oppose it when they reckon the effects of it at all while have discussion with the govt? As they represented all farmers when dealing with the govt. why is tht?

Yes coolandy,u are right. Just heard they pass the law to insist on RFID fr farm till plants with support fr mac.
So, what are we going to discuss on 21st??
Added on July 16, 2012, 1:48 pmWell if talk abt supply n demand, if not because of us govt election year as they are busy printing money to support their economy, n also euro also busy printing money to prevent collapse of their economy, we would have seen the second biggest economy crisis in history. With the election ends this yer, u will see next year they have gun but no bullet to shoot. N further it is also changing hands in CN this year and CN too facing tension to prevent bubble to explode there, they have slow down their economy purposely....but with their export growth rate lower then their import growth rate...they will do their best to prevent money flowing out and to encourage more export... We are trying to sell to them..so what do u think? Do they care about u been able to export ur products to them or not?
We are facing something we never seen before.........bn industry will collapse with the help of RFID, that's guaranteed.
Added on July 16, 2012, 2:00 pm We never learn from mistake n we never will...read this n see how similarity this with what is happening in bird nest industry....we are waiting for disaster to happen?
Just dnt do the same mistake again like FROM A BILLION RINGGIT TIN MINING INDUSTRY TO NGA-CHOY-KAI INDUSTRY

This morning news gives us some facts tht actually happening now :
1) our fed association mentioned tht their main concern is to speed up bird'nest export to china. The govt should SLOW down on RFID implementation. Installing RFID in farms will take a long time to do. THis is the stand of our federal association.
2) the farmer association urge all their members and farmers not to go as the 21.7 does not protect farmers as all farmers reject RFID as china never insist on RFID,as long as bn is below 30ppm then we export.
3) the action committee also rejected RFID totally and they want free trade for this industry. We should not allow only few big processors to do the processing n we don't even have tht many workers to do it. We should allow small processors in kampong to do the processing n as long as they meet the requirement, govt shd allow it to export. They will go to the 21.7, but if fed asso insisted on RFID slowly, they will walk out.
Hope this help those who can't read Chinese.

Our main concern, if we are going to the gathering to show support, Is tht mean we also support the fed association tht we all will install RFID which we oppose from start? I think we will be not given any chances to voice out for sure. What if after the gathering they said since u all already attend the gathering n gives support to them what!!..

One of my friend approached one of the leader n questioned him china never insisted it n even show them the federal china rules on bn import which is only 30ppm. But the leader showed him a letter from Guangzhou stating it required RFID.
I think they will used tht to coax us n the press to believe tht it is required by the cn...so,pls be prepare for it.
We will go to fight for NO RFID.

I think the letter is from one of the Guangzhou association n not from china govt. So do we need to follow Guangzhou association now ? Or follow china govt? This post has been edited by ChanK: Jul 18 2012, 07:08 PM

this morning news,
Press ppls said now we not even discuss with govt but two association already fight with each other.
Our minister said the RFID is one of the requirements in OUR guideline to export,so who said it is not in the guideline.
He also encourage the farmers association to attend the meeting on 21.7 instead of protesting on 29.7.
Then our federation association urged Farmers association to attend this week meeting.
And another bird nest association stressed tht each association have their own objectives and the bird nest association objective all the while
IS TO DEAL ONLY WITH ALL EXPORT MATTERS AND TO RECEIVE ORDERS OF BIRD'S NEST.
So,we have four associations in Malaysia, one is dealing with govt on all matters on behalf of farmers...but all the presidents are exporters now...so, in terms of whether they will more keen to help farmers or their export is everyone guess. Another association is to group up farmers and to deal with govt for farms matters, now, another association is representing all farmers to fight for their rights. But all the while only fed association n another export Ssociation is dealing with the govt so...
Is tht mean they never represent farmers at all during all the meetings with the govt?
Then who is representing us?

The Gorman must control their staff, the election will most likely be sept or oct, as all smart economists in the world know tht US election will end in NOV. they all know what going to happen after tht...it is going down all the way. As u will smell something very very fishy when u finds tht the govt is actually buying stock to hold the market or to push up the market a bit for election time...n it is happening now...this mean it really is tht bad.
If this matter go as it is been planned..All farmers will so piss, they will vote opposite 100% and not only tht they make sure all those around them to do the same.
I don't dare to think what is the reaction of the crowds if they are to attend the meeting n hear it straight fr them. God bless.

Wau...good idea.
Anyone taking handheld loud speaker to the stadium?
I think we should ask our children to contribute one Angrybird sticker to stick in our shirt.
What if in the meeting, they main purpose is to inform us tht we must follow their rules n install RFID?
What is our next move?
Launch nationwide protest?
Gather signatures from farmers to bantah RFID and sent it our pm?
Or what?
