At the moment the market price still at rm1600-rm1700?

This is really pathetic priceĀ  shakehead.gif

Here, this morning, there were these 2 buyers offering Rm2K for 1/2 cup and 1.4K for corner and I wasn't interested to sell at this price neither was I interested to introduce sellers to them....let them search for those sellers wanting to sell.

They seem to be more interested in corners as they already have buyers for them as usually,,, no one even care to quote for corner when 1/2 cup is already so low................

Just to let you all know of the price here and you may have other idea or plan.

Yesterday I was brought to a buyer/shop in Batu Caves by my friend who promise me a better price. But the buyer quoted me RM1200/kg after he examined my nest(much more corner than half cup). I was really piss but because he is my friend's friend, I told him I wanted to sell 1kg only. Then after some "chatting", he ask me how much I want to sell but I just pretend that I didn't hear. With this kind of price, I prefer to eat the nest everyday or gift to relative and friends..

Ideal price? 10kRM? What ideal price.. There is market price but not ideal price. If there are buyers in Pahang asking for RM1380 to RM1400 for lump sum, then RM1200 with seller bringing the nest to the shop is low.

It's just my personal humble view..

I think buyers are taking advantage of the dismal market to press down the price. Some would quote a reasonable prices over the phone but when they see the nests, they would say only a small portion is liable for the price they quoted earlier and offered a much lower prices for the rest.... The lower the prices they buy, the higher their profits... the market place is a killing field where fairness did not rank high on the agenda.

A recent forum hosted by Chinese Chamber of Commerce to help tie up loose end among all parties concerned is a step in the right direction to find workable solutions to the problems faced once and for all in my view. My praise goes to the Federation of Malaysia Bird's Nest Merchants Association who is willing to work with all parties for the betterment our industry. My only distaste for the event is the number of parties involved increased from 7 to 8 instead of previously announced 7. ...just another puzzle added to the equation. rclxub.gif

Hopefully, you didn't sell your nests for that Rm1200 mixed as we here have quote for Rm1400 for corner which is better than your mixed nests price. So, why sell so low than I might be able to buy and make a profit selling your nests but then it's wasn't right and honest to do so.

Even at Rm1400 corners,,, I still not selling and I do have alot of corners as I never replace these corners with round pieces for my intention is always the birds first.. By letting here know about the buyers' quotes are to inform here of the better price so that all can and be able to sell better and not at the mercy of those merciless buyers who are out to make fast killing and no thanks to our G'men involvement in helping to get us into the present situation.

So,, as I said, think what best for yourself and if Rm1K is what you want for your nests so be it and I am not buying cos I will feel bad and will not pass my own feeling on sin done on friends....although I shall make monies but than that not my wealth obtained honestly and I shall never be involved.

so.............will the price be coming up soon and that our export be allow when??? Too many Questions but no real Answers .

And who is the No.8 party and must be somebody no kind to our industry that you feel distasted, right? All must be united as One and not each group trying to outdo the others by going to the authorities alone for personal gain. Unity is strength and without it, we are at the mercy of the you know who....

That's why I shouted "BOHONG" many times when he spoke instead of "PLEASE" as what to please as He was lying ............believing all attending to be Fools.........like the lady sitting infront of me telling me to allow him to speak. Why? so he can have his show with the press on the delay for the export of EBN that we do believe him ; that lady was really foolish..............

I even asked if anyone there having birdshit so that I can throw at him...........luckily no one had or else you may have to visit me in jail.

These people already knew of the matter long before us but still wanting to force their way thru by buying some time but we won't be cheated again and again and lucky,,,,,,,,,,,,,with today fast internet; everything become transparent in no time and I believe that they don't have the time to follow up in the internet and still think that we still blur blur on the matter.....

Bn industry is similar to oil palm industry. Oil palm benefitted all rural folks where they able to survive without any help from govt as they are able to sell their harvest and fetch market price of their ffb. Money direct channel to oil palm planters and tht money directly channel back to rural economy.

Bird nest industry is the same, farmers are mostly rural folks where they able to survive without any help from govt as we are able to sell our harvest and fetch market price of our nests. Money direct channel to farmers and tht money again directly channel back to rural economy.

Two farmers had committed suicide in recent weeks.

Do our Goman want to see more suicides of their citizen?

And to those tht play the part of the planned monopoly of the whole bn industry in Malaysia, pls think twice.

Who knows why suddenly there were so many representatives to attend the discussion? And why there is conflict again among bird nest associations as the 3 t
erms had been agreed in the previous discussion?
