The story revolves around Chiharu Furuya, a high school freshman who is obsessed with zombies. Even his dream is to "kiss a zombie girl." Through an unexpected set of circumstances, Chiharu gets to know an elegant, pretty girl named Rea Sanka, and together, they try to revive Chiharu's pet cat Baabu who died in an accident. Hattori launched the manga in 2009, and the fourth compiled book volume shipped last month.
oh and with the recent manga (do try to keep this thread free from manga spoilers, i did label this thread as anime too) + guilty crown, i guess wheelchair moe is the IN thing. (code geass did sorta sparked it a bit heh)
But was worried if the anime will catchup with the manga's storyline judging from the number of chapters to date.
prolly just a 1 season thing, and with what the director is implying, there will be additional content compared to the manga and most likely some changes in the storyline, especially on how they wanna end it for the season.
as with all adaptions, i will watch for what it is and wont bother to compare

she drink the potion, her fahter finds her, she tried to run away, her father accidentally pushed her off the cliff, she got stabbed by the tree.
So why did you said she killed her self? I was confused there. Anyway, have some spoiler

No, she never 'died' to begin with, all she have now is just a zombie-like symptom due the zombie poison she drink when she's still alive, of which was suppose to be administrated when the subject is already dead. Whether she is 'curable' is not yet known, though I'm betting that it is.

in the end of ep 1, she was walking back to furuya with gore and shit hanging out from her guts, right?
Rea's voice is fine. Somehow it suited with that kind of girl with a lot of curiosity. Just that Rea's anime rapeface has less impact compared to the manga. Ranko is love though.

nothing really happen until episode 3... i was shocked to see rea's internal organs coming out luckily censored version... first time i'm glad to watch censored stuff
Am I the only one who likes Wanko more than Rea? There's just something about the childhood friend-type dropping hints while trying to keep atmosphere light than an Ojousama. I find her more endearing, Idk why.
nice anime, at first thought so so only, but well it was good for my taste
however, why end at episode 12? i dont want to read manga because it will spoil the fun if there are season 2. but, i really wanted to know what happen next

Just started it today and it attract me so much that i read until the last chapter on manga. Skip alot of unnecessary dialogue but still able to get the idea of whats going on.
This one really touch my heart alot, especially when i can feel the characters need to make tough and painful decision to let go of something in order to gain better result. And also the part when Chiciro need to make decision for Babu. Really make my heart sink...
