Is there any option as to whether we can get a Navigation unit / DVD player/ reverse camera that will not void the factory warranty of a new car ?

Which mean it will not adopt circuitary intervention, but instead using the car power socket instead.

Any idea from the pro will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ya the problem is the quality of the OEM unit. I almost wanted to commit to an oem navigator/reverse cam unit but getting from the appointed centre can maintain the factory warranty. Now thats an attraction, but the sound quality etc could be pretty bad.

For me I want the reverse camera option and navigation system too. Not sure what other option I have.

I would be happy to know who can do that. I have contacted our panel workshop (thru the sales agent, not directly) and they cannot install third party item without voiding warranty.

Perhaps they have different panel workshops.
