Sony, Samsung = Brand owner and/or OEM if they have their own manufacturing facilities....

Flextronics. FoxConn = Contract Manufacturers are the factories that have contract to manufacture parts build build products, usually by the brand owners...

Flextronics and FoxConn = OEM when they get license from brand owners to use their parts / technology to product their own branded products...

In Bolehland, OEM usually means the factory that copies / had original plans of original parts.... which is way over-abused term for ciplak....
*
lol,flex/foxconn got their own product meh? foxconn got those pmi and connector i know la

Flextronics used to have a handset that they build and sell to staff only, using SE technology.... way back then....

Just saying that they can be OEM if they choose to build their own products....

Not correcting what you said, which is accurate....
*

guys, i heard from SA, no need to buy expensive windscreen.

the 2.0 sensor can be taken off. just buy 2.0 windscreen, but without sensor one, just bracket. and remove and put the old sensor into the new windscreen. those windscreen 1000 only. (from thailand/taiwan la. original from japan)

Yes, u can reuse the sensor....

Initially there were no such Taiwan/Thailand parts for Inspira, even they are limited for LGT, due to low demand.... but now as Inspira floods (pun intended during this rainy season) the market, more resourceful ppl goes into the aftermarket and parallel imports as the demand for LGT items grows....

Still, not many have stock of these pre-cut 2.0 windscreen....

ADD-ON: i think you trying to mean buying expensive windscreen INSURANCE, right??
*
aiya....sleep.gif i just bought rm1000 windscreen insurance only, thanks to the good salesman. now i started to worry....hhmmm

time to scout cheap windscreen. sad.gif

yea better avoid replica. somehow reputable brands under YHI like advanti, enkei etc are big now but still very very hard to know differences due to their plant in china/taiwan also will copy it by other china co.

anyway what rims also if keep whackin holes etc will be damage but of course the ori/oem will tahan more as it is properly tested and studied on the material strengths etc
*
have you changed your rim?

i'm also considering another cheaper option, to repaint the color of the rim, sunway can do it for rm400 , cool bronze/grey metal color, but i think 205/60/16 kinda hard to find, mostly is 205/55/16, so i'm thinking to change to 17

oh, rejoice biggrin.gif mostly is 215/60/16 biggrin.gif
