Me tyre noob here. So does it means, the tyre is thinner and the space between the arch got wider???

it'll give the speedo 3% difference. plus, i think our stock inspira is quite low to start with. using smaller tyres will make it the 4b11 wira that will always kena bumps

Thanks for the info.

Here's a review by Paultan for the Michelin Primary LC tyres. Seems ok.

QUOTE
As you would expect, however, the bulk of Proton's work on the Inspira went into the ride and handling, an area which the company has gotten very good at after acquiring Lotus. As explained earlier, Proton's tinkering of the Lancer's settings were limited by the rigid framework set for them by Mitsubishi.

For example, the Inspira's tyre size of 205/60 R16 was pre-determined by Mitsubishi rather than a selection by Proton, though Proton had the freedom of choosing its own tyre supplier and model. Proton was also allowed to use its own shock absorbers in place of the Lancer's original units, although the mounting points of the shocks and suspension arms are still as per the Lancer's.

I'm actually thinking when the time comes to change tires, I might go for 205/55/16 since for that 55' profile, alot more choices when compared to the current 60'.

best driver would be australia... so polite.... when you cross the zebra crossing, they stopped for you... unlike malaysia..

Nope, I've seen it. Sit in their taxis as well. Nearly hit by them as well, twice. China is tame if compared to Cambodia. Malaysia is like a small baby compared to China and Cambodia.

Advanti? How is it?

After using those jap rims... i have a lot of confidence on them.. even 19" low profile tyres.. kena holes/bumps also rims dont have problem yet (touch wood). So I'll be looking for some recon volk/bbs etc for my Inspira.. 17".. who got lubang let me know, will trade in Ori rims+tyre the first day i get the car (loan in process).
