my god, that Krosis or whatever thing on Shearpeak is hard X_X...fortunately, high sneak + archery = slow death for that thing. Now I have a voice thrower XD

Same for me but I'm gonna try look for the Dragon Priest Masks. I read the wiki(s) that it is very useful but pretty hard to obtain because the boss is a total badass in combat. Will give a shot tonight.

apparently, krosis was one of the priests...

Just want to ask, you still below Level 10? Because i think upper Level 10 can fight Krosis quite easily, keyword = Fight Fire With Fire..i fight Krosis with dual-wielded Dagger + Sword (Dwarwen Sword + Glass Dagger)

Anyway, just got the 4th masks, now i got :

1. Morokei
2. Volsung
3. Krosis
4. Vokun

need 4 more laugh.gif...

lvl 23 with just an average weapon, elven bow with some ancient nord arrows. role playing as a full time thief who mainly does range combat (my one handed is around 24 with no perks into light armor or anything else)

found a bug in markarth, where the starting quest is regarding the forsworn. After finding out the truth, I had to return to the temple of Talos, only to find the guy dead. >_>

On a side note, I am tempted to laminate the map of skyrim that I got from the retail box so that I can put down markers (which can then be rubbed off) on what I need to do.

That whole questline is buggy as hell. I did that prison quest 5 times just because there's so many bugs connected to it.
List of bugs in that questline:

1. Like sharky said, guards weren't there to complete quest.

2. If you did get in the prison and
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
some quest items you had in your inventory is gone (amulet of talos, fragments of gauldar, etc.)

3. If you did finish the whole quest up to
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
sometimes when you randomly enter the shrine of talos, THE GUARDS ARE STILL THERE AND WILL ARREST YOU AGAIN!!

4. If you help the Jarl do 2 quests to get the Thane title, if you hand in the quest in the wrong order, the quest to become thane no longer appears.

5. If you get the chance to become thane and buy a house, if you don't buy it at that exact moment, when you come back the option is no longer there.

DAMN YOU MARKARTH!!!!
*
What happened to mine was that I entered, there was only 2 guards and no quest line appeared. Only after reloading from an earlier save did I manage to complete it.

just got this game.my 1st game of the elder scrolls series

still a long way and a lot to learn sweat.gif

It's a whole lot more friendlier to new players to the series. Last time, no map markers nor compass if I'm not mistaken (morrowind and below. Didn't play oblivion due to some of the feedback that I heard.)

I'm just running around skyrim doing quests, exploring, searching for the lusty argonian maid. biggrin.gif

Not really into the main quests just yet as there's just so much side quests.

Running around with high stamina but low health (kept it at 200 with no enchantments) is dangerous XD. Fortunately, sprint away + sneak, like a thief.

Can't seem to get the quests before you're allowed to buy the house in Solitude. Bethesda, fix your damn gamebreaking bugs!  mad.gif

You'll need to go to the blue palace and watch a miniature dialog about a cave. talk to the steward and that person once it's done smile.gif. I love proudspire manor. left over gold from being in the thieves guild.

Lockpick 100 to get unbreakable lockpicks. Seriously, I have no idea what's the use of the other one where master level chests are easier to open when unbreakable is the nicer choice (having to spend one extra perk point but that's worth it).

I've combined my alchemy and smithing sets together with the double effects perk. Quite useful since instead of switching around my armor, I just need to wear the entire set. Also, if the thieves guild were so secretive and the same thing with the dark brotherhood, how in the world do they, the guards know that I'm part of them? XD

I prefer the glass armor. Looks ultra nice especially when enchanted with mage schools XD
