Yeah, pickpocketing is the best way.
Quick guide to pickpocketing:
-Don't let the target see you approaching them in the 'sneaking' position.

-Wear accumulated enchanted apparels for pickpocketing up to 50%.

1. You must kill any NPC's that has good relations with you
-those who you helped from quests and chores.
2. Followers and companions.
- e.g. the hired muscles, that cost you 500g,
-Housecarls
-those NPCs that insist to accompany you
When you did the job, the deadra will congrat you, do this until you maxed the blade.
There is a reason why this blade was sealed in the basement due to it's wickedness, a deadric artifact somemore. Read the book as well.
