i got a myvi, plan to play sound quality but not those feng tau style music. previously i got quoted rm3k+ for some entry level component spk like domination, helix, soundstream, alpine with some korea made 4ch amp and a basic sub + box, some moderate not too lousy wiring that most shop using, install and door panel mod.
Due to something happened and i wish to spend only 2.5k for the setup. may i know this setup worth the money?

domination speaker set rm650
domination 4ch 60rms amplifier rm700
boschmann 10 inches sub-woofer rm180
thick wood subwoofer box rm150
myvi door panel modify with some soundproof rm280
myvi headunit case rm50
pioneer DEH-p1450 usb player rm380

i know if i add maybe 1k can upgrade everything to better one, but the problem is i want spend 2.5k now. and it must be 1 time work, too busy to work. any advise? please don't tell me what brand you have for sales. i just wanted to know whether this is okay or not? don's ask me go for recommendation thread, i had read it and it doesn't fit to my case.

thanks for reply. my venture are unknown. because i listened to my friend's custom setup, he got soundstream mid bass install at rear door, alpine tweeter install on dashboard, a 4ch amp and a monnoblock plus a peerless sub. my budget can get all these?

you top up a bit can get much better things than the above listed (or better than your friend, for that matter).

best that you find out more from the pinned thread/brand thread, or just contact one of the reputable installers that lurk around this forum

If you don't mind 2nd hand and the effort needed to find good stuff, you can get way better equipment than what you just stated

same reason why a genesis 50W x 4 amp costs 3k, or a mcintosh 50W x 4 costs 4k, or sinfoni 50W x 4 costs 5k

same reason if u buy proton 2.0 car costs u les than 100k, if a 2.0 bmw will cost u more than 200k

The price might be out a wee bit from TS budget, but definitely nice bundle package.
